you’re so right abt ableism surroundings how the fandom treats tim and it’s made even worse by the fact that mh, especially by the standards of early 2010s youtube which is when it was made obviously, is actually pretty respectful and sympathetic towards tim and the portrayal of his mental illness. the whole point is that jay and the audience are wrong about their initial perception of tim as scary and violent. mh literally sets him up as suspicious in the first season using horror movie tropes and then in season 3 pulls the rug from under the audience by going “no actually he’s a deeply compassionate dude just trying to survive and do his best. he is not inherently more cruel than everyone else and in fact is the one that makes it out BECAUSE he has learned to cope with these things” . tim not being a bad person is the whole POINT. so it’s even weirder when ppl do this stuff cause it directly goes against canon

this is soooo well said!!! exactly all of this! it's extra frustrating when you have a media that portrays mentally ill characters, Esp one w sm stigmatized disorders with respect and compassion. like come on guys, go back to the media and Think about what it's showing and telling you.

i am unable to read the marble hornets comics because i’m broke so i hope you don’t mind me asking this but who or what exactly is skully? are they a completely separate person from jay?

Skully is a being completely separate from Jay. They exist on their own with the goal of starving the Ark and defeating the Operator. They carry victims stuck in the Ark inside of them, away from it (in order to not allow the Ark to feed). As to exactly what they are....something kinda like the Operator, a being that's not human but we don't know exactly what.

i thought about this all day and consulted many ppl on it...got many varied answers i will just share here with you. my own opinion is they would love to skate but they hate shoes and mostly hangout in the woods so wouldn't be able to use them. (+ later on in life had a knee injury) but i think they'd think heelys r really cool and stare autistically at anyone using them

This may be a personal pet peeve of mine, but it always seems so strange in Creepypasta Fanon when people make Masky talk, and be a dick to everyone! They never talk in the show, and are shown being like, quite antisocial! They make sounds sometimes, but they never talk! Mute!Masky is the superior option and I will die on this hill! They wouldn’t be a jerk for no reason!

most creepypasta masky ppl haven't even seen MH so i never expect accurate portrayals from them tbh. i'm also a big fan of non-verbal masky and it's what i headcanon for them, :] tho they do speak a few times in canon. ("no!" when jay tried to take off their mask in entry 18. and it's supposed to be them speaking in Entry ###### as well tho imo thats hoody lol)

I wouldn't call them antisocial as they're usually hanging out w Hoody and helping Jay/Jessica ? But i agree they wouldn't be a jerk/mean for no reason! Masky my buddy my pal is kindhearted
