a flag for anyone with any kind of depressive disorder or depressive symptoms. i didnt like any of the depression flags i found as they were all, understandably, very negative. and i, as a depressed person, wanted something that reflected more optimism while still acknowledging the negativity.

while some of the aspects of this flag represent hope, i also recognize that it's hard to be hopeful or optimistic with depression, and that's okay. this flag isn't meant to make you feel like you have to be hopeful or optimistic all the time. it is simply meant to serve as a gentle reminder that this, too, will pass.

purple: depressive mood, lethargy, sadness, exhaustion

dark blue: hopelessness, anger, feelings of worthlessness

light blue: tranquility, and moreso the journey to find peace

yellow: hope, resilience, rest

flower: new beginnings and growth

semi-colons: survivors of suicide or people recovering from suicidal attempts/thoughts/tendencies.
