Unlike most of her peers, Hootpaw seems to be the bravest cat in the whole Clan. Readily throwing herself into chaos and action for the sake of her benevolent moral code. Though, you won’t catch her actually spending time with other apprentices, as she prefers the company of more seasoned cats— when they aren’t reprimanding her for her dangerous antics, that is.

hello, i have a question, would it possible say, for a Runningclan cat by blood, to go with other Creepingclan cats to join the clan instead 👁 mostly because the pelt color i have in mind for one wouldn't match the black n whites of Creepingclan and it got me thinking of a Runningclan cat who, while being raised there by birth, wished to join their "siblings" in returning to Creepingclan

I certainly think that’s possible. Unlike in the books,in The River Territories crossing clans and mixing blood tends to happen circumstantially and depending on relations between the Clan, can be mediated.

Hey there! If I had a fluffy ginger cat, would there be one clan that fits them better than the others? At least appearance wise?

I’d recommend RunningClan or SplashingClan as CreepingClan tends to be black and white cats.

I'm actually curious on if the clans each have varying opinions on different coat colors! Like, given how hard a silver pelt is to obtain in general, would it be seen as lucky? Would an all white cat be seen as unlucky? Sorry for rambling, I just find it interesting to know if the clans all have their own superstitions!

So I’d say yes! Silver cats are seen as beautiful in every Clan but CreepingClan! In CreepingClan solid white is the most preferred in terms of beauty and superstition.

How often do the clans have gatherings? Also, was Creepingclan previously not attending gatherings (due to the selenophobia)? Some of the wording in the lore gave me that impression but I wanted to check.

While at some point gatherings were likely during every full moon, selenophobia stopped CreepingClan from attending.

In recent memory gatherings likely happen pretty frequent but have been at a standstill during the most recent Leaf-Bare.

Gatherings do still happen during a full moon, but I think they occur more sparingly than in the in books.

Um, question!! Regarding Runningclan stealing Creepingclan babbies. Does that mean there are cats that don't "fit" the stereotypical Runningclan aesthetic? AKA, are there blatantly Creepingclan-esque cats that stand out? Wouldn't any stolen babs upon growing up be kinda sus of how different they are from the others in Runningclan?

So yes, there are for sure cats with CreepingClan blood in RunningClan and that likely carry the CreepingClan aesthetic.

RunningClan being as manipulative as they are, would likely be telling their stolen kits that it was “for the best” or they were “abandoned” / “given up” if any cats began to question things. Whether these CreepingClan by birth cats feel part of RunningClan or not is up to them. I could see some even returning to CreepingClan in adulthood. Renouncing their RunningClan upbringing.

Even SplashingClan had likely said something but has been dismissed by RunningClan’s leaders.

Very curious what the ruins at the mountains that creepingclan desc mentions are!

Because I am bored at work, I will share a little about CreepingClan just for you!!

CreepingClan is all about legacy, destiny, and family. They form the tightest bonds of the three Clans, and treasure their individual relationships.

They were the original Clan, all cats in the territory once came from the Ruins where CreepingClan makes its camp.

Not much is known about where the Warriors truly came from. What is known is that they lived along side great beings (humans technically, tho they lived so long ago no cats remember them) who used their paws to create grand structures. Because of this, CreepingClan tends to handle the cold winters best as they have an actual shelter to stay in.

Over the moons, CreepingClan has morphed into a dynasty with leadership and deputy positions being passed on through family lines. But that all changes with the arrival of a new star….

As mentioned in my last ask, they have become diurnal creatures, aka active during the day only. Perhaps they’re afraid of something?
