Time for a lore drop! And Oriolepaw is getting more curious about her clan's past
This chapter was really important to me to develop the culture of my clans. I'm not the first person to point this out but it is so boring a lame that the canon clans don't have any kind of holidays or celebrations and they don't sing or have festivals??? BORING ITS SO BORING!!
So here are our Duskclan cats having a festival of their own and we learn a little more about that day a year ago... Also, who is that stranger on the last page...?

I think that CrowFeathers Trial is a pretty good book! It’s got a lot of cool moments in it and it didn’t really feel bad at all.
A few of my favorite moments are when OneStar is like “Just forget about your ThunderClan son CrowFeather, you shouldn’t care about him” and then it’s revealed that OneStar has a secret son that’s probably evil because of not being taken in by him is really funny.
I also like CrowFeather trying to bond with his son and it being an actual rough development and not an instant fix like in other books.
I like that NightCloud and Crowfeather split up at the end but still remain as friends! Honestly there are a few couples in the series that should’ve just ended up like this. The part where NightCloud tells CrowFeather that being in the twoleg home was like one of the first times in a while that she felt wanted is heart breaking, I never really liked her before but I really do feel bad that she never got a mate that actually loves her, I think she deserves that.
Also love HeatherTail and BreezePelt, they’re a really cute cannon couple.
Also Hootpaw, just Hootpaw, I like him a lot.

Though, you won’t catch her actually spending time with other apprentices, as she prefers the company of more seasoned cats— when they aren’t reprimanding her for her dangerous antics, that is.
