as a general rule, I am very very VERY against the whole concept of computer brain chips. it is dystopian and creepy and invasive.
but as I sit here, fresh piercings hurting like hell and the only headphones compatible with my computer just barely resting on my ears, I hate to say it, but it would sure be nice to have my little cowboy game's music channeled directly into my brain.

Creepy Technology
I do not live in a small city. It's described as "Metro Vancouver" by courier and shipping companies for a reason.
Despite its large size, I will run into this odd problem thanks to gmail and how it's organized.
I use my labels but I prefer to just search for that persons name or email address if I know who this conversation was with -- and a word inside the body/subject.
Sometimes, I'll meet a new contact, start a couple of email convos with them, need to look back on these convos --- and realize that we were both cc'd on some art project 7 years ago.
Like, even without Facebook, I am informed of mutual friends and relationship history in a slightly creepy way.
Slightly creepy, slightly cool way. I occasionally get this feeling like I'm playing with toys from the future.
