How do you feel about Jane Arkensaw and Jane Richardson? Please note they're not two versions of the same character as Jane Arkensaw is dead in Jane Richardson's canon world.

I think that there's compelling elements to both stories/characters!
I do like you pointing out that they're two different characters, anon! 🫶🏻 As the author of Jane Arkensaw did establish that she was separate from Jane Richardson, and changed her name to Jane Everlasting 🖤💕✨️
I know there's so much confusion over the differences between them. Like the debate of Jane Richardson vs Jane Arkensaw (aka Jane Everlasting) is such a confusing rabbit hole for new Creepypasta fans 😭💔 but overall I love things about each of them!
I like Jane Richardson because I think the idea of government experimentation is compelling (though I do think the original story fails to explore its potential.) And I like that Jane Richardson is a canonical lesbian 🥰💕🖤✨️ Also I do like that Jane Richardson's appearance is authentic! I think it makes sense that if she was undergoing experimentation, her body would mutate as a side effect - although I do wish it was a bit more ghastly!
I like Jane Arkensaw because I think the tie of knowing Jeff in his youth makes sense. I like that she's scarred, and hides it with a mask and wig (although...I have opinions about that too now that I think about it) Also her last name is WAY cooler than Jane Richardson's (LMAO) However, I will say, even though a lot of the iconic Creepypasta stories aren't necessarily well written, I dislike Jane Arkensaw's story more than Jane Richardson's - just from a literature standpoint.
In my experience, these two characters are still like....mish mashed into one frankenstein of a character. One Monstrous Jane. But I think it is important to hold space for both of them! I would love to see more fanfiction and stories where both characters exist!
Overall, I love Jane content!!!!! I actually kind of love that over these last couple of years the fandom has turned her into a more well-rounded character, taking inspiration from both stories for what kind of role 'Jane the Killer' plays in everyone's individual headcanons/aus!
