A Saumur, au XIXe siècle, Elisabeth Amiot, devenu veuve, prend en main la destinée de son vin (même destinée, même assonance, et même nombre de syllabes que pour la Veuve Clicquot !). Elle est décidée à ce qu'il devienne le plus grand des vins de Loire. Capiello ici nous distrait toujours autant. Il use de la référence royale en mettant en scène un monarque. Ce dernier juge le vin exquis, tout vêtu qu'il est de sa tunique losangée, évoquant les sols à damiers des châteaux princiers, ceci dans une pose très fixe assouplie par les volutes d'hermine de son manteau de pourpre !
