A friend of mine once said that every song, every story, once written is one about love. I would not know if that is the entire truth, but I have to recognise there is at least some truth to it. Love is what shapes us, what bounds us as well as divides us. Considering we are what we are, it might be an almost ironic fact that love divines us in such a fundamental way. I was never made for love. For chaos and destruction maybe - and war, when it came my way. But love? No, that was some foreign concept, beholden to others. But when chaos inevitably meets war, what else to assume than that they will fall in love? I am not a believer of great fires, but when everything is set aflame, it is blazing admiration that stirs the stomach. I have this tendency for destruction, but so has he - and whatever we touch will burn.  It will burn in greatness and it will burn in darkness. It will burn until everything, from earth till sky, is covered in blackened ashes and will be clothed in an eternal night. Not for lack of light, but due to the upcoming darkness.
