I've received a number of anonymous asks about this in the past weeks, but with everything going on with Mercedes and George and the shitshow that is my own life, I didn’t want to address the matter. But now, ironically for these exact reasons, here are my two cents.
Yes. I know about this person, they go by Cressidagrey, and I know they’re weird. I know because a friend sent me one of their fics and then I had to sit through her raving about it while I despaired that we live in a time where we’re being casually recommended AI slop (sorry for the callout. I have strict rules against naming names. I thought it was AI. I DON'T KNOW. No one can know. What I can say is that so many people have already accused them, it's all over the internet. If you want you can read the fic and come up with intelligent conclusions)

Recently, I saw a few posts where people were claiming they have said some deeply reprehensible things about George (among other people) I browsed through their blog and I’m kind of speechless?
Apparently, they lost it when George was with Toto and Susie for their son’s karting race because ‘It should’ve been Max’.
This was on their Tumblr: Will we ever see Max confront George in person? he is going to rip George’s throat out for assaulting her.
There are multiple posts about George assaulting some girl, and if and when Max will k!ll him.
I am no one to call someone depraved. But… seriously????
Most people I know who write RPF, do it with a level of respect, which is how it should be.
Then there was this beauty:
Rosa Wolff is in the paddock, and my mind went directly to "eh? we hate Rosa? Toto hates Rosa? Why does he take her to paddock after having beef with her, her mother and her grandmother????"
Again. What???
They have also included Max's sister's children in their fic, and other minors, with their real full names. I never even knew Max's sister had children. And this is just the tip of the iceberg, there's a LOT on their blog. I can't go through all of it, no one should. It's sickening. For your own mental health, I suggest you stay away.
They keep saying it's George's fans making the fuss, because they've also bashed Charles's mother and his whole family and his fans haven't said anything. For real? That's your reasoning? You think this is something to be proud of? The fact that you've bashed someone's family?
I don’t know what to think about all of this. Every time someone tries to correct them, they come up with some phony excuse that they’ve put up a disclaimer or something and that gives them a right to be shitty to people.
They have a bunch of followers who think they're beyond reproach, it's really scary. Crazy runs in the community it seems.
I don't know honestly. This is all very strange. I've written one fic in which Charles is a grey character, not even dark, and I've thought a million times about replacing him with an OC. You can't argue with the fact that In the end, these are real people, so have some respect. Please.
