George disassociating in the post race interview, they are doing everything they can to break him. He posted a story today, the day after, where he says he keeps believing, but I am sure he is starting to understand the kind of set up they have for him.
The incompetence is blatant, and I do not care if I get called stupid but it is obvious that Toto Wolff and the whole garage has an agenda and that is what they will go with. I wanted to believe that Toto and Mercedes would actually help George during a title fight, but I unfortunately was very wrong to think that.
His 100th with Mercedes is coming and I have no doubt that they will do something to screw him up like in his first race for them. Letâs take a moment to remember Sahkir 2020, a race he could have won. Letâs not forget Silverstone 2024 either, retired the car from pole because of a mechanical failure, his home race that his teammate won. And I have sooo many others it is actually insane. A top team should not be making these mistakes. And now, since China, the horrors have persisted. Like, every weekend has truly been worse than the previous one. Unbelievable.
Unfortunately, we need to accept that George is alone in this fight, and in F1 you canât win if you do not have a âdream teamâ. Toto Wolff that keeps blaming him, not defending his driver at all, when it was clearly their fault. China, They costed him the win because his car died in Q3. Japan, wrong set up but he recovered. Miami, not his best track, but he lost a podium because his car was falling apart and they kept him on the wrong start mode and other things. Canada, no explanation needed. Yesterday, it could have been a podium, from p6 to p3, and the team messed up again.
This season has truly been so fucking weird, everybody has had serious and dangerous car issues but car 12 is supposedly made by God with unbreakable material. Every car having 19282618 reliability issues and then there is one of them who has the car made of titanium. Anyway. It is starting to feel like they sat down and decided the 2026 champion already. And I am sure they did.
Two races back to back without points for George because of a top team like Mercedes. 70 points from the leader man, what the fuck really.
yeah, and itâs extremely cruel.
as a massive George fan and defender (and i am truly not afraid to be), i still completely trust and believe in his potential. beyond just "being a fan," i recognise his undeniable talent. itâs right there for everyone to see. last year and at the start of this year, when other drivers were asked who theyâd bet on, the vast majority said George. so it is bleedingly obvious, even to his own peers on the grid, that he has world champion talent. the problem is that, apparently, the very people who should notice this and fight for him are the ones undermining him. and like you said, i think heâs starting to realise it. itâs tragic, and i imagine it must feel like the worst thing in the world for him, but unfortunately, itâs the reality. and i honestly want to burn that bloody team to the ground for it.
and please, you are definitely NOT stupid for speaking the truth. if they call you stupid for thinking like this, then let them label me stupid too, because at this stage, i am absolutely CERTAIN we canât trust a single soul in that snake pit. and yeah, i also really wanted to believe George would have some support in this, but i ended up so deeply disappointed that it actually hurts to think about. at the end of the day, whether we like it or not, this sport is a dirty, greedy business. whatâs better for them? prioritising the team as a whole by offering equal treatment to both drivers regardless of results, or literally pushing your most loyal driver into a corner just to engineer the rise of a new star who keeps breaking records? they don't even hesitate to choose the second option. after all, what does it do for your name and your team principal reputation to have a world champion who is that young and that talented? why not break more and more records and get more and more hype and attention? thatâs the whole point.
itâs truly tragic how all of this works. and itâs even worse when you look back at how George has ALWAYS been treated. iâm sorry, but the guy has been suffering since the very start of his career. he suffered obvious sabotage back when he was absolutely clearing his teammate at the time (who was considered a legend and is one of the biggest names in motorsport), and when he started carrying the entire team on his back (because yes, he did exactly that when Lewis decided to just leave Mercedes, and people still have the nerve to say George isn't loyal). yet, the guy remains polite, a thorough professional, and completely loyal. he works his socks off for everyone there, giving his blood and sweat for a piece of shit team that barely gives a toss about him. honestly, if i were in his shoes, i would make everyoneâs life an absolute living hell. if they wanted to paint me as the villain so badly, i'd make sure to play the part. but as iâve said before, George is miles above that and stays focused on himself, which is truly admirable. and yes, i agree. i still believe in him, but iâve been completely disheartened since Japan, because itâs always the same damn story: George works absolute miracles handling everything entirely ALONE, we think heâs finally going to get a good result for it, and then the exact same thing happens again: endless issues with the car, external factors that lol, only happen to him, a complete lack of communication from the pit wall (itâs still hilarious how he has to ask questions and study things he should be actively informed about but isn't), and on top of all that, dealing with the constant nagging from the media and the publicâŠ
and well, itâs true. he is completely on his own out there. itâs good for him to know that there are still people like us who believe in him and know his true potential, but unfortunately, we canât do anything except defend him on the internet. and itâs just like you pointed out, this sport demands a "dream team". you canât always move forward even with a good team, but obviously, being in a top-tier one helps immensely. we know this because we see so many talented drivers who donât get a chance to continue because midfield teams just can't deliver. so yeah, it sucks. as for Toto, he only cares about himself and his own reputation. he doesn't even have the guts to explain to his own son that the reason his favourite driver is losing is his own fault, let alone have the balls to defend the team's titular driver. the same driver who, btw, saved his ass more times than i can count when other drivers he idolised so much left him high and dry. soâŠ
i am really not the type of person who likes to accuse people without proof or "cry" on the internet trying to make bitter excuses just because my driver isnât winning. but in this case, i think itâs impossible not to question the situation anymore. and look, if they want to call me a crybaby, fine, but iâm not just "crying" because George isnât winning; iâm "crying" because he is being actively boycotted and visibly screwed over. so yeah, it is VERY dodgy that all the bad luck and "technical issues" happen to fall strictly on one side of the garage. and yes, they have absolutely made their minds up already. itâs a massive disappointment, but well, it is what it is. iâm not saying Kimi isnât quick or that he doesnât have potential, but the fact that the whole situation is comical in a highly questionable way is undeniable.
back in Montreal, i already found it deeply suspicious that George's car specifically had issues AGAIN to the point of just dying (not to mention the fact that only he had been complaining about mechanical problems since way before that), but what happened in Monaco yesterday was the final straw. be for real, that rubbish team had literally SO MUCH DAMN TIME to serve that fucking penalty, but no, they chose to leave it until the final laps right when George had just managed to secure P3.
funny, isn't it? and even more comical than that is that George couldn't even ask about what had happened or try to understand why they hadn't served the penalty, because look at that, the team just told him they would "decide that later." LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, they aren't even bothering to hide it anymore. how utterly stupid. and to be completely honest, i used to feel quite sad thinking George might leave Mercedes, but now? now i am actively praying for it to happen. how many top teams wouldn't kill to have a driver like him? and then maybe theyâll see that without George, they have a massive problem in that shitbox. and honestly? i hope they all get fucked. because this has been completely unacceptable for a very long time. and thatâs why i simply decided i donât support any bloody team anymore. i support George, solely and exclusively. so whether heâs in that trash team or not, well, whatever. i go where he goes. and frankly, itâs because of bullshit like what theyâre doing to him that this sport ends up losing undeniable talents. what happened to Danny Ric is a prime example of that. the guy retired just to get some peace. the grid lost an incredible bloke, the teams shoved a majestic talent up their arses, and we lost the chance to see him race the way only he knew how to. maybe theyâll be satisfied when the same thing happens to a few more good drivers on the grid and there are none left over.
anyway, thank you so much, dear anon, for sharing your brilliant point of view. always feel free to drop by anytime.
