This pin Ichthyosaur pin was designed by @thestory137 / @ginger_aside Did you know this, like so many ancient creatures, isn't a species but a genus? Did you know it isn't a dinosaur? Ichthyosaurs were once a common creatures. Species ranged in size from small at a few feet long, to massive! Up to 69 feet in the fossil record. That's not just big That's up there with the biggest things that have ever lived on Earth. Ours here is mirrored with their skeleton. And that skeleton... glows in the 👀 Remember to check our Kamren's kickstarter for his new pin! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kamrenreed/drag-o-lantern #ichthyosaur #marinelife #marinereptile #notdinosaurs #ancientocean #ancientearth #skeleton #vultureculture #skeletonpin #reptile #glowinthedarkpin #glowpin #dinosaurpins #dinosaurs #jurassicpark #jurassic #cretacious #triassic #paleopins #paleoart (at Scribbles Art Collective) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiDiAzJvim_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
So I just read a book named Time Spike, and the premise is that a group of people were transported to the cratacious, at the end of the book they mentioned that the day was shorter and I looked it up, and what I got was a range 21-23 hours, do you have a more concrete number? And on a similar note, do you happen to know how long a lunar month was then as well?
Yup, that seems about correct. Going with the same calculations, the lunar month would probably be around somewhere in 24-27 days. It’s kind of a ballpark, so don’t cite me anywhere hehe.

In the late ’90s, researchers in New Mexico found that if you take CT scans of a dinosaur skull fossil, you can recreate the sounds the dinosaur might have made millions of years ago. A graduate student at Arizona State University took that idea one step further, by creating a dinosaur skull that you can play like a musical instrument. Full story
GORGOSAURUS
Hoping to do more of these in the future. There’s so many cool dinosaurs like the Zuniceratops and Afrovenator that are out-shined by the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Raptor etc. Someone needs to give less common dinos love too.
