Okay I'm gonna do the same thing I did before and do my top 5 from my main music genre, and then honorable mentions from across the spectrum of different genres haha

Rock Bottom by Modern Baseball (Yet another MoBo mention, who would've guessed!)

Run, Brother, Run by Fireworks (My favorite song from them, I think! And seeing this album played front-to-back live last month was genuinely life-changing, like I legit think it healed something within my soul that I didn't know was broken)

Routine Pain by Spanish Love Songs (I wish this band would get more recognition! The album that this song is on is genuinely so moving, and such a powerful commentary on the American working class and the human condition)

Runaway, Come Home by Trophy Eyes (I think this was my top album of 2024? And this is one of my favs off that album, it's just SO GOOD AAAAA)

Raining in Kyoto by The Wonder Years (I think this might be their only song that starts with R, other than "A Raindance in Traffic" which I guess starts with R by a technicality only? But it wouldn't be a favorite songs list from me without a TWY mention and I do love this song—the music video is really cool too!)

Great question(s)!

1) Right now my fandoms are Assassin’s Creed, Captain America, and Hannibal. I honestly don’t know if I identify with anyone from Assassin’s Creed except Kassandra because she’s a woman with a bird and a horse and is queer af (well, my Kassandra, anyway). I kind of identify with Cap in the sense that I think being kind to people is a pretty sensible way to go about your life and I too sometimes want to pick fights with the walls and mouth off to everyone. As for Hannibal… I’m kind of a combination of Will and Hannibal because I go through my life constantly covered in dog hair and have epic bitchface, but am super pretentious, love to cook, am unrepentantly drawn to windowpane suits, listen to a lot of obscure classical music, and cry at the opera. So. Make of that what you will. No pun intended.

Oh, I also make a lot of bad jokes.

2) For a creed I’mma go with a cheeky “Nothing is true, everything is permitted.”

That is a truly unfair question. The answer is A LOT.

I’ve literally been deliberating recently over whose jersey to get. Most of my book sale money is going to credit cards and savings so we can move to Canada, but I want to splurge on something for my birthday, since I won’t get gifts from anyone else.

The problem is, name a team and I’ve probably got at least one player on the roster I love.

Obviously Flower’s my first and best love. And Dobby, my good round boy. There’s Marky and Demko and Domingue on the Canucks. And Merzly and his wonderful sunshine personality. And Larmi, precious hilarious boy! AND Alex Lyon and Cahtah Haht and and and... ugh.

This is a problem. I’m leaning toward just getting like six shirseys, since they’re more comfortable anyway, and the cost will be about the same as one actual jersey.
