I hope you’re all doing well this April. How was your spring break? How are your classes? Good i hope! things have been busy around here. With Nationals right around the corner we’ve been rehearsing harder than ever! I don’t know if we can pull it off without you guys, but i’m hoping we do. Three in a row. . . wouldn’t that be awesome?
Crazier than the chance at another national championship, i’ve been promoted to the most meaningful title of all, Dad. Nia went into labor last Saturday and gave birth to two beautiful, healthy, baby boys-- Justice and Gus.
Seeing as it’s spring, i’ve just become a dad, and later this month i know some of you will be coming home for the wedding, this months theme for the kids is new beginnings. below attached are more details.

Week #3: Out with the Old, In with the New. (Songs about change and beginnings.)
Week #4: Something Borrowed, Something Blue (The Best Wedding Songs for New Beginnings.)
All group members are encouraged to engage with this lesson creatively—let there be duets, group numbers, solos, mash-ups and more. While there is a decided to focus on different areas each week, song selections are not limited to the following and any/all other artists are welcome!
We encourage you to utilize this task as a way to move your plots along in a very glee way. pick a song in line with the theme and post a self-para or collaborate with another player on a duet and of course just visualize with the group number.
Since this is glee, any character is welcome to sing a song whether it be an actual performance or a dream sequence. if not threads or self-paras, we welcome any interactions that comply with the theme. let us see your characters listening to their songs on spotify, tweeting their reactions, most everything is fair game, we want to see everyone get creative!

link has no plans of going to college after high school, so his senior year is set to be a year of him making as many films as possible and trying to get them out into film festivals. he also hopes that he’ll finally get onto the a24 email list, he knows there has to be one.
the world of gay horror cinema is going to be turned on his head by link, weather anyone likes it or not. school is just an after-thought, he’s just graduating because he has no excuse not to. it’s not a question of weather there’s life after high school but one of how famous can i get while still attending high school english classes.

Cameron was accepted to the Savannah College of Art & Design earlier this month. He applied early action because he’s always known exactly what he wants to do. Study his video game nerd shit.
His goal is to build similar relationships to those he had in high school and just be as happy as possible. He wants to perfect most of his recipes and hopefully use his excellent chef skills to make friends.
He just wants to do his best and make his mother proud, but college may not end up being all he set it up to be in his head. He is pretty confident in where he wants to go and what he wants to do, but even the most confident people lose sight of reality sometimes.
He wants to keep in touch with Joey and Frankie forever.

Michael wants to graduate from McKinley and pretty much lose touch with anyone whose name isn’t Otto Meeks.
He’s an overachiever and applied to most of the Ivys and a few other top schools. His top choice was Stanford, but after visiting the campus, he thought he was a better fit for a life in New Jersey at Princeton.
His goal is to eventually attend medical school somewhere, so he is going to spend most of his college life studying and working out, which is pretty much all he does now anyway.
He will be on the Princeton Tigers baseball team, but let’s be real, nobody cares about sports at an ivy league school.

WHAT I ENVISION FOR THE BOYO:
renzo 100% got into NYU with his standardized testing scores and his billingual ass sob story of an supplemental essay (directed at both nyu and his deadbeat dad and his motivations to walk tall as a scholar so that his kids never experience their father using them as a drug mule).
unique pushed him to shoot for the stars when applying for colleges but he NEVER would have expected to actually get into NYU. he and unique had that stereotypical shedding tears moment. ( which of course won’t happen canonically until april 1st.
renzo will enter NYU as a childhood education/spanish double major...but eventually drop the childhood education part and just major in spanish.
i very much see him studying abroad in spain or in latin america in the summers because DUH
i also envision him and zoe becoming friends slowly but surely while studying together because uwu.
with his big ass mouth i see him crushing public speaking situations and as such landing himself some TA jobs for spanish classes. tutoring “worldly white hoes” on how to conjugate properly.
lorenzHOE will have a great time in college and that’s all i have to say about that.
i also see him becoming an RA to cut costs since NYU is so expensive...but like an actual cool RA that smokes with his residents and goes to parties and shit. resulting in him getting fired his senior year when he gets too sloppy lmao.
DR. LEIBOWITZ (xan’s therapist): “i’m glad you’re feeling so positive about your show choir and your boyfriend...but i want to talk about you. so what’s on the menu for senior year?”
XAN: “What isn’t on the menu for senior year would be the better question I think? Of course I’m going to nail my college applications and get into a good music school...but I also want to wild out a little bit. I feel like I deserve it. I just added that to my senior year bucketlist.”

Despite her reputation as the local gossip or the ‘ruby express’ and her unfortunate nude scandal in the fall of her senior year, Ruby Zizes was always a really good student. Ever since she was a kid, she loved school and always made sure to prioritize it. However, she never advertised her good grades or her tutoring services or the fact that was on the brainiacs. She worked quietly and diligently under the radar academically, relentless in her goal to attend an Ivy League school.
Ruby applied early to Columbia University and will commit to attend immediately upon her acceptance. She’ll be on a pre-med track with the long term goal of becoming an OB/GYN.
She’ll keep in touch with her true few from high school, of course make new friends at college, and stay with Benji long-distance. It won’t be easy, but it’ll definitely be worth it.
