A what-if ficlet for @madnessiseverything that got out of hand but demanded out of my head. Anyway here's some cricketcat featuring a Charles who's know he's bi since the 80s and has a very casual approach to sex.

"You can leave, when one of you makes me happy."

Edwin visibly cringed, and felt himself stepping back, only to freeze in place when Charles replied, "That's it?"

"That's it," the Cat King agreed easily, smile widening from where he lounged on the bed.

"Charles!" Edwin hissed, because clearly Charles had misunderstood. Much as Edwin was typically the one to miss double entendres and innuendo, this one was staring them right in the face. "He does not mean- That is, this is not just a matter of playing games, and going home!"

Charles put a hand over Edwin's where he was clutching onto his elbow for dear life. "I know Edwin. It's okay."

"Oh, I'm sure we could throw some games in there for a little variety," the Cat King winked at them, though the smile was a little less easy than it had been before.

"I'm game, though you'll probably have more experience on the actual mechanics. Just you and me though, yeah? Let Edwin go."

"Charles, no!" Before Charles could hear any more of Edwin's protests for his honour, he disappeared. Charles forces himself to take a deep breath. Edwin was out. Edwin was safe.

Not one to beat around the bush, and since these things had never been a slow affair when he was alive, Charles took no time shucking his coat and shirt off. He tossed them to the side, and crawled onto the bed. "So then, any ideas in mind on how I can make you happy then?" he asked, leaning into the Cat King's space. He hadn't been kidding when he said he'd need to follow the other man's lead on the actual mechanics of things. Somehow he doubted he'd be satisfied by some snogging, grinding and groping in the dark like Charles had gotten accustomed to when he was alive, and testing the waters with blokes for the first time.

Before he could blink, Charles found himself on his back, looking up now at the King. "Oh I had some ideas."

"Definitely thought you'd want me to put in more of the work, but if this is how you like it, carry on," Charles smiled back, still easy as you please.

"Don't worry," he said, running a hand along Charles' jaw. We have lots of time to find all sorts of ways for you to please me." With that he leaned down, and kissed Charles with more than just a little bite.

That bite had Charles freeze immediately, where normally he would melt into kisses, his eyes were wide open, and every inch of him was vibrating. When he didn't kiss back, the Cat King leaned back up with a frown. "What?"

"I could feel that," Charles said, voice almost a whisper.

That didn't seem to be the right answer, as the Cat King frowned harder and rolled his eyes. "Ohhhhhh my God, don't tell me you're one of those ghosts who thinks it's not gay 'cause you can't feel-" He never got the chance to finish the sentence, as Charles lunged up, and kissed the Cat King now with a desperate energy that wasn't there before.

"I can feel you," Charles repeated, and his hands were everywhere, only followed by his mouth in its exploration of every inch of skin.

Well then, Thomas was always glad when he could make someone happy as well.
