One fic I'd like to read is a concept that Red Hood is RICH rich, but his family doesn't know, or they just forget. When he's been reintegrated to the family, they thought his acceptance of the rubber bullets is synonymous to renouncing his Crime Lord status.
But no.
Jason is still running the criminal world empire. He could not just leave a power vacuum because it will become chaotic, putting civilians in danger. He protects crime alley with that criminal money, too. He keeps his Prince of Gotham status unbeknownst to everyone.
His family and the superhero community forgets that he's not just one of the batboys, he's not just Batman's soldier, he's not just Bruce Wayne's son, and he's not just hanging around the manor until the next vigilante patrol. That early-20 year old is a busy multi-billionaire CEO of whatever criminal empire he's got going on. He has multiple safe houses, some of them penthouses. He bought restaurants from abusive owners and keeps the employees. He also uses them to employ thugs who want to improve their lives. The pay is good, too. He has multiple apartment buildings in park row to improve the rent situations. So not only is he rich in the criminal world, he also has legal businesses that keep him legally rich.
And the story would revolve to instances where they forget he isn't just their little wing. They encounted gangs who scatter at the sight of the number 1 gang lord, and they never thought it was Jaybin's presence that scared them. They go to a small business and they receive free services. They go to a fine dining restaurant and they're upgraded to vip rooms.
Up to this day, they have no idea that Jason is the fifth richest man in Gotham. Jason just never shared because they never asked. Honestly, he doesn't think much about it.
