Had this thing marinating and aimlessly sitting in my head for quite a while already.

I think Vincent while being suddenly thrown into playing his part of belonging to the Rogue Trader dynasty and got moved to Koronus, he would definitely write letters for Elayne (his beloved spouse who was left in Calixis), still being clueless about her death, to cope with her apparent absence.

The thing which later evolved into basically being a memoirs of his time in Koronus, never to be sent to her or maybe rather never to be delivered. He rewrites these countless times, something he strikes out and adds anew, adding more letters one after another, the piles of them. So here's the first part, which as well maybe the first draft of a letter he ever writes. I think I might continue with more as the actual playthrough progresses.

Baby. You. Won't. Fucking. Believe me. Dunno where you are now, but you've missed on quite a clusterfuck happening. And I mean, a LOT of fucked up shit. I was dragged away — and you have not a slightest idea where to — to KORONUS. To the damned KORONUS EXPANSE. But hol' up! More on that later. I remember a very damn well of our agreement to meet up so please be rest assured I'd never forgot about you out there or ditched you (PLEASE don't you ever dare think this way). I tried e͟v͟e͟r͟y͟t͟h͟i͟n͟g͟ that was in my power, and... failed somehow. Failed you. I'm truly sorry.

Dunno how it went on your end tho (way better than it went for me at least?), but hope I gave you and the mates just enough time to get out of there and fly off with the cut. But please believe me, and I swear I͟ ͟R͟E͟A͟L͟L͟Y͟ ͟W͟I͟S͟H͟ I'd been there for you now. Of fucking course it was a dumbest mistake to go back to the damned base from my end. A big fucking mistake... I saw a lot of nasty things. A riot. A pure chaos, basically. Our supporters and alliances we've forged all this time in the ranks, seen the fellas mutilated, twisted or killed, the rest were completely brainwashed. Wished I could help them anyhow, but I was lucky enough to get out of this shithole alive with my skin and brain intact. And you baby, you were completely right, as you always are... And DANG- that's what I freaking love about you — that sixth sense of yours and the guts. I shoulda freaking listened to you this time. Anyway, the voidship I was on got intercepted right on my way back to you. That Inquisition fuckers caught and interrogated me. Questioned about you, too. But I didn't crack baby no. Not. in. a. single. slightest. I just simply couldn't give you up to them, it's absolutely beyond my power to betray you even as my back got ripped open and my arm broken in three places. We shoulda just flown away with this damned ass artifact, somewhere. Doesn't even matter where to.
