Today while photographing for the #denotifiedtribes project I was introduced to the Bhat tribe. They are performers and artists. Known as the Historians of India. Much of the literature of India owes its preservation to these people. They are musicians and singers as well as basket weavers. Sadly this group lives in extreme poverty thanks to the #criminaltribesact that was imposed upon them by the #British. It’s difficult living this way but then I was introduced to three brothers who are also #albino They are picked on because of their fair skin and the extreme heat and bright days make it very difficult to see. #thebirthlottery India #davidgoldmanphoto #photojournalist @peakdesign #findyourpeak (at New Delhi, India)
