Which we didn’t pay for and ended up having to run from the ice cream guy because we both conveniently didn’t have any money. That detention was the day me and Julius became best friends! And we went from best friends to… well, you can guess.

The doctors were simply bewildered! This ginger is running in screaming with a... a body in his hands! “S- Sir! What happened???” “WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE HAPPENED??? Come over here and put them on the stretcher, hurry!“ Putting you on a nearby stretcher, Pico stood there, watching nervously while doctors rushed you to a nearby room.

4 hours later~

Pico has sat in the waiting room for hours, not even going up to go to the bathroom or clean up. He was so nervous, the way your body looked engraved in his mind. Hope soon rised in his chest once he saw the doctor he talked to earlier come out. He ran to the doctor “H...H-“ Pico cleared his throat. ”H- How are they??” The doctor looked up at him, smiling. “They are in stable condition. It’s truly a miracle.” Pico finally snapped. Falling to his knees, he started to break down, crying. “Would you like to see them? They are sleeping but-“

Pico ran past the doctor and into your room. The doctor sighed, smiling. “Young love.“ He ran up to your bed. Sighing at the sight of you breathing, still being there. He held your hand, passing out from sheer exhaustion.

Night time~

The man came into the room, about to kick Pico out. The doctor from earlier came stopped him. “Let him stay. we can dismiss the rules for young love.“ The man laughed. “You are so corny. Fine, he can stay.”

Day time~

You woke up, feeling a throbbing pain in your head, but a warm hand holding yours. Looking down, you could see Pico sleeping to the chair next to you, and upon further inspection, that you were in a hospital. You try remember what happened. You don’t remember much, one moment you were smiling and eating icecream, the next you were on the ground, screaming and in pain. You wonder how you even survived. Pico then started to stir. “Hey sleepy head! Mind telling me what happened?” Pico jumped up, then pausing for a moment. He then pulled you into a bone crushing hug. “Ah!-“ “Don’t ever scare me like than again dumbass! Thought... thought I lost you.” You smiled into the hug, hugging him back. ”Back to my question, what happened?“ Pico grimanced.

“We were in the park, and you got shot. I ran all the way here.” You looked at him with worry. ”Are you okay?” “I should be asking you that. Ya need to take it easy, okay? I wanna take care of you.“ You hug him again, this time catching him by surprise

He took care of you for the whole time you were hurt. You noticed that he became 10x more protective and caring around you. Not to mention, the person who shot you was arredtwd and was going to court soon. He was basically in set to go to jail.

But that wasn’t enough for Pico.

“This is what happens to people who mess with the ones I love.” ”PLEASE STOP!
