If Kinger and Queenie (at the time this relationship takes place) were to see Jax’s ‘Funny One’ facade in full affect, how he masks almost all the time, his whole philosophy about the Circus, and him violently pushing Pomni away, how would they react?

Yeah they would not approve lol. If they were around (physically and mentally) they wouldn't alow him to slip into it. Queenie is very straightforward in this au, so she would sternly but with love tell him how dumb his approach is. And with Kinger try to steer him to better coping mechanisms. (how succesfuly depends on how deep gone Jax is his willingness to cooperate... it'd be a long process lol)

And like after the fight with pomni they would be sad and dissapointed. Especially Queenie would be like "Is this what you are now? Is this really what you want to be Jax?" Which would breakkk him oml. He respects their opinions so much, even if he would never admit it, so being called out like that would crush him.

After that i can either see him doubling down and lashing out even harder, blaming Queenie for leaving, saying he doesn't care, to leave him alone etc

Orrr, breaking down, apologising, begging for forgivness and to please not leave him again.

And like Checkmates wouldn't, even if he lashed out. Both Queenie and Kinger love him and know how important support is in the circus. He'd just have to be willing to accept help (and take accountibility for his actions)

Permission Granted to Be Weird

So, we've all made art we're not proud of when we were younger, right? Like really bad pieces that you hide away for years, until you find them again and finally look them over—but never show anyone… Yeah, me too. (-_-;) But what if I told you that making cringe-worthy art is actually a good thing? Would you believe it?

Reasons Why Making Cringe Art Is Valuable

1. IT'S A SIGN OF GROWTH For many of us, when we first start drawing, our work isn’t great—maybe a limb is too big, the eyes don’t match, or we aren’t considering perspective, or the colors clash because they’re too vibrant. That can be frustrating, especially for beginners. And that’s totally normal. Most artists don’t start out creating masterpieces. Drawing is a skill that improves with practice, learning from watching others, noticing what needs fixing, and growing through mistakes.

2. IT ENCOURAGES EXPERIMENTATION Making cringe art promotes trying new things without the fear of creating something ugly or awkward. There’s no punishment for messing up or creating something weird.

3. IT PUSHES BACK AGAINST SOCIAL NORMS

When we’re young, we often don’t care what others think—what’s “cool” is what we believe at the moment. Later, we might criticize those early drawings because we conform to what others see as “cringey” or embarrassing. But that old art is from a time when you were unapologetically passionate.

4. IT SHOWS YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF We’re in a time when we have AI and popular trends taking over creative spaces, I'd say making cringe art is pretty valuable. While AI can make some pretty cringe-worthy content, it is still pretty soulless compared to making your own cringe art that feels more uniquely personal. Popular trends conform far too much to what's socially popular or cool and don’t give much room for authenticity. Your cringe art shows your unfiltered, authentic self-expression, and that makes it valuable.

5. IT FOCUSES ON JOY OVER PERFECTION

Finally, the main reason why I believe cringe art is valuable because it prioritizes joy over perfection. Many aspiring artists hesitate because they fear their art won't be perfect. That fear of judgment and the need for perfection can paralyze us from growing, experimenting, expressing ourselves, and truly just enjoying the process of making art. 

I often find myself struggling to make each design or piece perfect. Even now, I am trying not to be in my head when it comes to writing this blog. Especially since I am also posting a lot of my old art that I have not shown to many people. But regardless, I will try to enjoy making my flawed art

As of writing this, 15 chapters are currently out, and the tail end of the 15th one is what finally drove me over the edge to draw them silly!!

Had to practice drawing Macaque and the Mayor, so it'll explain the shitty quality n lil unfinished mayor head lmao/

Now, I know what Author PROBABLY meant with the tail is probably just.. the tip of it nudging the Mayor up. BUT I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT CURLING AROUND AND CHOKING HIM. THE VOICES.

Nobody can convince me that the Mayor wouldn't act smug even with a tail wrapped around his throat.

The right one is more a personal hc-but-not-rlly scenario. Like, just imagining it. (I.e: What if Wukong could see Reader through Gold Vision? [Mac: "Look at me, do I look like the Six-Eared Macaque?"]) Since I'm too lazy to go reread ALL of the 1st part of the series for Reader Lore, I skimmed through the last chapter to jog any memories and went from there

Reader can't shapeshift, only cast illusions(which I'm assuming is the same thing as glamour just more widespread). Which would mean they're still the same person underneath all that. Gold Vision.. uh, well idk exactly what gold vision can do(didn't exactly finish JTTW) but if hypothetically it COULD see through illusions...

Could Wukong see through mac's illusions? What would he see? The Six-Ears Macaque, or Mac's ACTUAL self?

RAMBLE TIME:

Since I rambled about the timeline thing uh yesterday I had a dumb idea of what he look like if he was in the 2000s BEFORE the present. Jasper changed a lot after Benny was forced to move out (well possibly kicked out cuz Bernice is only defending her "husband") and he seems a bit silly yet sorta manly throughout the years.

Jasper was the next person to move out after turning 18. He was reading to have his place, somewhere in Cleveland, and have his own family so he moved out with his girlfriend before marriage while Bethany, the sister, still lives with Bernice. (Keep that in mind Bethany is still a child [age 8 to 10] during that time.)

January 1st, 2001: 3 years later Jasper returns to Piqua along with his wife and their kid, Kaley/"Kipper" Krupp. The family moved somewhere close to Bernice's location as a surprise and boom. They met again, unfortunately, Jasper didn't meet Benny again. Bernice warns him about it. He didn't understand why but Bernice convinced (well lied, or sum) him that there's nothing to worry about him.

She told Jasper that anything related to Benny should not be spoken about, including in front of Kaley/Kipper. Bernice didn't wanna allow her grandkid to interact with Benny without any context whatsoever. But Jasper agreed and maybe thought his mom was worried and overprotective towards the child.

December 25th, 2001: Just Christmas. Nothing else but Jasper on the other hand wasn't sure why Bernice didn't wanna allow him to interact or FaceTime Benny. Maybe it's her worrisome? Is she hiding something? Not sure. Jasper soon tried his best to not bring up the topic and enjoy the holiday. Hoping he can see the full reason of it.
