These Air Fried Apple Pie Egg Rolls are a tasty dessert. The golden, crispy shells are filled with sweet and spiced apples. They're easy to make and taste great when you're craving something sweet.
Ingredients: 2 cups of peeled and diced apples. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 8 egg roll wrappers. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/4 cup brown sugar. Powdered sugar for dusting. Vanilla ice cream optional, for serving.
Instructions: Diced apples, sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and lemon juice should all be mixed together in a bowl. To make the jam, mix it well and let it sit for 10 minutes. One egg roll wrapper should be laid out so that one corner faces you. Put about two to three tablespoons of the apple mix in the middle of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold the sides in. Roll it up tightly into a cylinder shape, and use a little water to seal the edge. Do it again with the rest of the apple filling and wrappers. For about 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 375F 190C. Spread melted butter on top of each egg roll and then sprinkle brown sugar on top of that. Make sure there is some space between the egg rolls when you put them in the air fryer basket. The egg rolls should be air-fried for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them over halfway through the cooking time. Take out the apple pie egg rolls that were air-fried and let them cool down a bit. Before you serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar. If you want, you can also serve them with vanilla ice cream.
