With each spoonful, Instant Pot Apple Butter brings the taste of fall to your mouth. It is a cozy addition to your fall recipes because it is just the right amount of sweet and spiced.
Ingredients: 8-10 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Place the sliced apples in the Instant Pot. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt to the apples. Mix well. Close the Instant Pot lid and set the vent to sealing position. Select 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' setting and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Once the cooking is complete, allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick-release any remaining pressure. Open the lid and stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract. Use an immersion blender to blend the apple mixture until smooth. Select 'Saute' mode and cook the apple butter, stirring frequently, until it thickens to your desired consistency. Turn off the Instant Pot and let the apple butter cool before transferring to jars for storage.
