A traditional treacle tart has a crisp pastry shell around a sweet, sticky filling that tastes of lemon and ginger.
Ingredients: 400g golden syrup. Zest and juice of 1 lemon. 150g fresh white breadcrumbs. 1 egg, beaten. 1 teaspoon ground ginger. 225g shortcrust pastry.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 180C 350F. In a bowl, mix the golden syrup with lemon zest and juice. Add breadcrumbs and ground ginger to the syrup mixture. Stir well. Roll out the pastry and line a tart tin with it. Pour the syrup mixture into the pastry case. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg. Roll out the remaining pastry and cut into strips. Create a lattice pattern over the tart. Brush the lattice with beaten egg. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

These Air Fried Apple Pie Egg Rolls are a tasty dessert. The golden, crispy shells are filled with sweet and spiced apples. They're easy to make and taste great when you're craving something sweet.
Ingredients: 2 cups of peeled and diced apples. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 8 egg roll wrappers. 1/4 cup melted butter. 1/4 cup brown sugar. Powdered sugar for dusting. Vanilla ice cream optional, for serving.
Instructions: Diced apples, sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and lemon juice should all be mixed together in a bowl. To make the jam, mix it well and let it sit for 10 minutes. One egg roll wrapper should be laid out so that one corner faces you. Put about two to three tablespoons of the apple mix in the middle of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold the sides in. Roll it up tightly into a cylinder shape, and use a little water to seal the edge. Do it again with the rest of the apple filling and wrappers. For about 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 375F 190C. Spread melted butter on top of each egg roll and then sprinkle brown sugar on top of that. Make sure there is some space between the egg rolls when you put them in the air fryer basket. The egg rolls should be air-fried for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them over halfway through the cooking time. Take out the apple pie egg rolls that were air-fried and let them cool down a bit. Before you serve, sprinkle with powdered sugar. If you want, you can also serve them with vanilla ice cream. Ingredients: 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 3 large egg yolks. 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice. 1 tablespoon lemon zest. 1 teaspoon gelatin. 2 tablespoons cold water. 1 cup Greek yogurt. 1 cup crushed graham crackers. Fresh berries for garnish.
Instructions: Put cold water in a small bowl and sprinkle gelatin on top. Let it bloom for 5 minutes. Mix the egg yolks, sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk the mixture until it gets thick. Take it off the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until it's all stirred in. Let the lemon mix cool down until it's no longer hot. Heavy cream should be whipped in a different bowl until stiff peaks form. Mix the whipped cream into the lemon mixture slowly until everything is well mixed. Add the Greek yogurt and mix it in until it's smooth and creamy. Crush graham crackers and layer them on top of the lemon mousse in bowls or glasses for serving. Do it again, and then add a dollop of lemon mousse on top to finish. Put it in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets. Just before serving, top with fresh berries.
