Pan-Fried Fish and Shrimp Jeon is a delightful Korean seafood dish that features tender fish and succulent shrimp coated in a crispy golden batter. It's perfect as an appetizer or main course, bursting with savory flavors and satisfying textures.
Ingredients: 250g white fish fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces. 250g shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 2 eggs, beaten. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt to taste. Ground black pepper to taste. Soy sauce for dipping.
Instructions: Season the fish and shrimp with salt and pepper. Dredge the fish and shrimp in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip the floured fish and shrimp in beaten eggs. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the fish and shrimp until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot with soy sauce for dipping.
