INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ DAY. Over my life I always felt connected to the Indigenous cultures here in the states and abroad. I would collect replicas and artifacts from different groups. Growing up in NY I would attend gatherings of different Tribes and Nations. Inwould@sit there and watch and just feel connected with the music and dance. It wasn’t until much later in life and after I was tested that I have 33% of Indigenous DNA from South America and the Yucatán. Mainly from my father who’s Indigenous from Colombia.
