i don’t really engage in shipping, and fjord and jes are V cute.....but I’ve been laughing for like five hours at the possibility that it doesn’t really work out, which would be sad and interesting for the characters and story and all that. And Fucking Hilarious that Travis Willingham gets dumped in dnd by his wife. IMAGINE.
It’s a possibility ! It’s a just a kiss and the idea of a something to come. Clearly Fjord have feeling and all, as for Jester, she seems a bit more still lost in her whole feeling, even if the Fjord she kissed is really different from the Fjord she had a crush at the start of the campaign. Same as you, i don’t engage into shipping, but the whole moment made my heart melt, and as long as the players are happy (and in a lesser level, the characters), i’m happy for them. And if it’s not working (i’m sure Travis and Laura probably had that talk) it’s not working, it happens! It would be funny to have Laura “dump” her Husband in dnd, because it won’t affect their IRL life. WHAT COULD AFFECT THEIR IRL LIFE THO is the toxicity of the fandom, the hate of frustrated people, the war brewing in meaningless ship wars. It’s their game, their characters. And it was Laura’s wish from the start to romance her Husband (who can blame her), and the way it happened, after hundreds of episode, wasn’t forced. I’m happy for her and Travis (i mean, look at them, they cute) and the fandom should be happy too, because they’re having FUN. The fandom should have fun too. If it’s bringing you more pain than fun, idk, stop watching? Idk, look we had a perfectly happy Matt Mercer and yall gave him anxiety... Also, remember that. Ship comes from “relationship”, and it started being toxing when it became it’s own thing, leaving the “relation” part behind. Just my pov.
