Where are you going?

Annie only had a fever last night, but through the hours between her going to bed and her alarm clock going off,it had gotten so terribly worse. Her temperature had risena great amount, sweat drenched her forehead like a drippingfountain, face beet red climbed out of bed. Becoming so incredibly dizzy that she had to lean against the bedpost.The newly turned seven year old waited there for a minute,before continuing on her way to her closet.

She had BEGGED their mother to stay off the set today, she wouldn’t be able to do her lines like… this. Annalisewas pretty sure she got the flu from Peter when shewent to check on him after receiving the news hewas sick. He was her friend. Of course she went to gosee him, thats what friend do, right?

A cough tickled her throat, itching irritably until shewas forced into a hacking fit. Her sore throat throbbedwith each cough and only made her want to stay homemore. When she noticed her older sister standing in thedoorway, Annie’s face twisted into one that was almostpleading. She gave her sister this look a lot, but right nowshe NEEDED Madison to stick up for her. After all, Anniedoes it for Maddie all the time. Maybe she’d be able toconvince mom to let her stay home.

'  Maddie , ' The younger sibling sniffled, tears stinging hereyes ( and not like they do when she’s on set and she wantssomething, these were genuine, painful even. ) ‘ Please tellmom to let me stay home from the set today? ‘

Alice had been sitting in her room reading, the door slightly ajar. It had been a little hard for her lately to block out the noise of the departed and books weren't doing the job as well as they normally did. If they had done the job just like normal she wouldn't have been aware of someone in the doorway. Placing her book down, she turned to face the door. "Is there something I can help you with?"
