The Clays house is a temple, and even if Wulf wasn’t the one who set the fire, he didn’t stop Trent or Astrid from setting the temple partially dedicated to the Raven Queen on fire

I will say that like- it feels odd to me that that was so, like, pointed at Eodwulf? Like it definitely felt like he was blaming Eodwulf Very Specifically when it could have been any of the three who set it on fire? and yeah, at that point Astrid was on their side and Trent incapacitated but like

'wulf had literally just come to consciousness. Astrid became Definitely On Their Side while Wulf was unconscious. And then suddenly he's being threatened loudly with like- afterlife torture? For not immediately trying to douse the fire while he's dealing with waking up and seeing his abuser crashed into the ground and incapacitated

I don't think that was like- Tal's intention necessarily and I'm not upset with anyone but like everything around Wulf's waking was just- so pointedly angry and threatening when there was really No Reason for their treatment of him to be worse than that of Astrid? Aside from I guess them having more experience with Astrid

not to be salty in the middle of the episode but watching all the love and hope for Astrid and just- utter disregard and distaste for Eodwulf in the tags right now is like- turning my stomach.

I love them both and want them both to make The Right Decision and come out of this okay

Okay, I was already getting Ripley/Glintshore Fight vibes from this solely cuz I want them to Tear Trent Apart Ripley-style but now with Eodwulf there and on Trent's side, it feels like a parallel to Kynan (not on purpose and only because I already made the ripley comparison of my own volition)

and long story short if any more parallels pop up I'm gonna be uuuhhhh so worried for Caleb
