Katana vs Ryoshu in a one on one fight who wins
Ryoshu. Hands down. This isn’t even a question
So to start I have a few reasons for this but:
Ryoshu is implied to be trained by the five fingers, that’s already terrifying in itself, but this also implies she might understand how Mang works therefore could be powerful enough to manifest it on her own
2. Ryoshu quite literally can split people in half so quickly and efficiently that they don’t even feel pain. In Shrenne’s case no one even realized until Shrenne was already split in two. Hong Lu is a bit different, but still follows by this same logic.
3. Getting this off of a thread I found on Twitter that’s very interesting but:
Ryoshu has already done some seriously messed up stuff and is clarified to be even more of a monster than outis was in her ***PRIME***.
4. We also don’t even know what her blade is capable of like when it’s unsheathed, and if I’m correct Ryoshu splits people WITH IT SHEATHED. Either that or she unsheathes it, splits them in a damn millisecond, and then resheaths it AGAIN faster then a human being can even comprehend. THAT IN ITSELF already outranks Katana by a mile.
5. Ryoshu, at least book Ryoshu, is implied to have tortured and murdered shit tons of people to the point that the company has to clarify that some of the shit she’s done is hard to stomach EVEN IN THE ***CITY***. If Katana has any morals going into this fight he’s already dead in a millisecond because Ryoshu will end him the moment he hesitates. AND if Katana somehow pisses her off guess what? Dead. No ult gonna save him there.
First of all Katana already has one major, MAJOR drawback— he’s slow. Like literally it’s his entire mechanic. Sure, he’s probably extremely muscular and can tank a lot of hits, but Ryoshu already outdoes him in speed, there’s no tanking if your opponent can sever you in 2 before you can even comprehend pain. Katana is also older and probably has some drawbacks from that as well.
Although Katana needs to unsheath his katana, which, yeah, sure! Anyone would have too of course— NOT RYOSHU!! Ryoshu is apparently so overpowered that she doesn’t even NEED to unsheath her katana to murder someone with ease. And, also, in the split seconds Ryoshu does unsheath her katana? Well, Katana’s still charging up his ult not even realizing he’s already being sent straight to hell by this lunatic
Katana doesn’t have Mang or anything else special in the city that Ryoshu might have. So she outclasses him in that
4. Katana’s ult— even at its full power, doesn’t even kill unless the opponent is already injured greatly and really exists just to slow them down so he himself can kill them with other blows
Lore wise I believe it was actually clarified by SODA HERSELF that Katana was weaker than BANHAMMER!!!! BANHAMMER!!!!!
tldr Ryoshu is an absolute moralless fucking lunatic who can most likely kill Katana before he can even register the pain from it.
