am i allowed to sell crocheted stuff that I made using a free pattern?
Has anybody crocheted a cover for their heating pad before? I was curious about what type of yarn to use since it’ll heat up and such. Would cotton, wool, or acrylic be best? I’m wanting to practice a new stitch as well, so teaching myself thermal or moss stitch.
Something similar to this!
does anyone have any tips for adjusting a color work crochet pattern to be made to measure for larger sizes?
i’m creating a pattern for a fairly simple crochet heart sweater but i want/need to figure out how to make it a more customizable when it comes to sizing but im not sure how to adjust my color chart for that
should i make a color chart for each size? it’s rlly important to me that i’m able to make it size inclusive, im just now sure how to do that the most efficiently
any tips and tricks are appreciated!!
GUYS does sweater curse apply to sewing too or no because its not hard for me to sew a half zip like it is for me to crochet a crew
I have a question for all my crochet friends out there who sell larger items, like blankets! Does anyone have any advice for to photograph them??
I love making blankets and want to show the full thing, but my bed is literally just a mattress on the floor and I don't have enough space on the ground anywhere.
I have tried draping them fully on a couch but it just looks weird to me.
Hey y’all! @easterndaylighttime asked me a question about crochet sweater construction and I’m not processing well enough to come up with the answer. Do y’all have any advice? Here’s the question: “I'm really stumped with a sweater I've been working on and I wanted to ask if you maybe had any advice. I'm crocheting Bert from Sesame Street's sweater for my partner and the problem is that it's vertically striped in three colours, I've just been working it "sideways" for the body and that's been fine (two rows of double crochet per stripe). I can't figure out how to do the sleeves this way though - normally I would gradually narrow the sleeves by decreasing horizontally (like row by row), but I can't do that and still maintain the width and the order of the colours of the vertical stripes, can I? I'd really appreciate any advice you can give”
Crochet question
I was working with a chunky chenille yarn (katia bambi) to make a 12inch bumble bee.. and realised the usual pattern starting with 6sc into a magic ring does not work; the shape gets too sharp too fast.
About this size 👇🏻. Momo-senpai sitting on a great big bee in our local yarn shop Tiny Rabbit Hole.
The shopguy hinted it may be something to do with my starting ring. After I left the shop, I realised I probably need MORE single crochets to start, say maybe 8?
Does anyone know or have a visual of the difference, using chunky yarn, when you start with magic ring 6sc, 7sc, and/or 8sc?
I briefly saw a discussion on Instagram on someone's post but of course can't remember whose post, but they did mention that how many SCs you start with affects the shape...
Has anyone come across this?
