This blanket has got a little Story.
I am an 70s kid. Due to that fact all things crochet scare me and I did not like them at all. I appreciate the work and effort that went in it but it is not my cup of tea. There are still nightmares about ill fitted crochet bikinis at the poolside happening at night. Thank god my Ma didn’t forced me to wear such a thing. For the christ of me I still don’t know why adult women did it volunatrily? Still don’t know.
Now then, Mrs. Sarahlinde liebt Wolle is to blame for this. On monday evening I sat down to watch one of me favourite podcasts. “Sarahlinde liebt Wolle” and she showed her Granny Stripe Blanket. Boooooom! Drooling began. At something crochet? Wow! I rushed to grab some Sockyarn scraps and blew the dust from some crochet hooks. Pulled the pattern out of uncle Google. Instant chaining and there it is: Scrapblanket out of the Scrapblanket scraps. I didn’t want to. So Sorry! For Real! Entschuldigung.
