         he  points  out  the  obvious  &  she's  annoyed  to  say  the  least.  because  she’s  long  grown  skeptical  of  team  work.  especially  when  she  doesn’t  trust  the  other  person  as  far  as  she  can  throw  him.  but  he’s  not  wrong.  he’s  been  part  of  a  ploy  to  get  to  storybrooke  long  before  she  found  herself  in  this  new  realm  ;  a  place  she  was  supposed  to  call  home  in  another  life.  it’s  not  her  home.  it’s  a  foreign  place,  filled  with  creatures  she  doesn’t  understand  &  people  who  treat  her  like  the  intruder  she  is  &  she’s  done.  she  misses  henry.  she’d  already  found  an  unlikely  new  home  &  she’s  not  looking  to  settle  anywhere  else.  she  can’t  &  won’t  stay  here  any  longer  than  she  needs  to.  so  if  she  has  to  make  an  ally  out  of  a  pirate  to  get  out  of  here,  so  be  it.  even  if  she’s  reluctant.  she  holds  his  gaze,  frown  in  place,  firm  words  following  a  long  pause.  “  let’s  make  something  clear.  you  pull  one  sketchy  move  &  you’re  done.  we  don’t  need  another  complication.  don’t  be  one.  ”

𝔞  𝔩𝔦𝔱𝔱𝔩𝔢  𝔩𝔞𝔲𝔤𝔥  𝔬𝔣  𝔪𝔬𝔰𝔱𝔩𝔶  𝔡𝔦𝔰𝔟𝔢𝔩𝔦𝔢𝔣   escapes  the  FORMER  LOST  BOY  as  he  leans  forward  on  the  railing  of  the  dock  ,  dark  gaze  focused  outwards  towards  the  sea.           it  was  strange  how  casual  the  two  of  them  could  be  ,  after  all  this  time  -----------  stranger  still  that  they  were  alive  &  kicking  after  200  odd  years  or  so.         their  time  in  neverland  was  not  lost  on  baelfire  ,  &&  certainly  never  forgotten  by  neal.            but  even  so   ---  to  talk  about  their   𝔠𝔬𝔪𝔪𝔬𝔫  𝔡𝔦𝔰𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔬𝔦𝔫𝔱𝔪𝔢𝔫𝔱   &   𝔥𝔞𝔱𝔯𝔢𝔡  towards  rumplestiltskin  felt  rather  ...   well  ,  C  O  M  F  O  R  T  A  B  L  E  ,  if  only  surprising  because  it  was   just  a  𝔯𝔢𝔤𝔲𝔩𝔞𝔯  𝔠𝔬𝔫𝔳𝔢𝔯𝔰𝔞𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫.
