Happy 40th birthday to #crohnsandcolitisuk without this charity my life would be a lot different. I wouldn’t have the support of so many strangers there at the drop of a hat to wish you well and send words of encouragement when life is getting shit (pardon the pun💩!!) these people are there to give any advice you might need or just someone to talk to that’s going through the same thing! We’ve done the walk twice now and hope to do it again next year with my wonderful wee team!!! Before I was diagnosed I didn’t really know what Crohn’s was....I had heard of it but wasn’t too sure...this is the problem because no one wants to talk about poo and sore bums and all the other crap 💩 that comes with it! People don’t understand that when you have one autoamune disease you usually end up with a list!! All the medication that works so well with Crohn’s fucks the rest of your body....the millions of steroids Iv have to take have turned me into an 90yrar old🤣 The people who run this charity work tirelessly in Making sure we are all ok! These people are most definitely the unsung heroes. The strong ones that keep us all going even in the hardest times.
