thing you need to understand about claremont's x-men is that he really loved strong women and transformation
got a very very long weird ask that was just anon ranting about why they hate captain america comics and movies and idk why they brought it to me because
1 - i barely read captain america comics
2 - i generally like captain america when he isn't in x-men comics and I disagree with most of their points about it always ultimately being patriot propaganda (and im canadian?) and
3 - im a huge fan of far more problematic material than captain america? i mean im a big fan of lovecraft and in general am opposed to the idea of searching for politically "pure" art
