The Cromopolis family is growing! Get ready, the Sci FabLab (above the Miramare castle) is going to Zagreb, to the Science Picnic!
Let’s learn things! - Engraving: is the practice of incising a design onto a hard, usually flat surface, by cutting grooves into it. (Wikipedia) -
I had so much fun this afternoon at Franco Vecchiet’s laboratory by printing on paper these laser-engraved icons! It’s been the first time I saw the process of engrave printing, and Franco is the best teacher ever!
One of the greatest experiences of my 2014? Was the overnight at the Bio50 Hotel! It was one of the installations-product within the MAO (Museum of Design and Architecture) in Ljubljana. Maja and Cvetka, who are the curators, invited me to take part of this project created by Silvia and Alessandro, two Italian architects who are currently working in the capital.
BIO50}hotel is a temporary exhibition hotel established at MAO - Museum of Architecture and Design of Ljubljana during BIO50 24th Biennial of Design curated by Jan Boelen.
We didn't, unfortunately, have the time to organize a proper conference, so I took bits of furniture around the museum and arranged my own spot, where visitors could try my project Cromopolis.
Kids were the best! It was amazing seeing their surprised faces, once they finished coloring the postcards, as if something magical happened!
