Proof that needle felting is THE most forgiving art.
This is the same sculpture, with the one on the right being its final form.
Whoops nearly forgot the tiny teeth!
Been quite a long time now since I’ve worked in natural clay but it felt like the most honest medium to work in for this little project.
In retrospect a blue eye would’ve been more fitting, but I think she’ll be a line in working improvements to make a sculpture that represents the me I saw whilst tripping on shrooms. But for now, here’s the best incarnation to date.
Once painted this will be more obvious, but she’s a mix between a cat and a lizard.
I had some black canvas shoes that were falling apart so I've given them a paint job and a rugged waterproof coating for their last life.
I have done a paint
Not bad for my first time wrapping a stone with thread.
You know I have an inkling that my creature creation skills may have improved slightly over the past 5 years. These are supposed to be the same exact creature.
