Description: This lovely vintage sable cropped coat or stole will steal your heart – it's soft as butter and the rich brown striped fur just shines in the light. It's made with a shawl collar which may be worn either up or down. Broad lapels transition into pockets on each side in the front. Jacket is made slightly shorter in the front than in the back. Hook and eye closures in the front. The construction of the sleeves is interesting – you just sort of shrug into them, the "armhole" goes from the top to the bottom of the coat with a notch at the bottom on each side. The deep cuffs are turned back upon themselves and cuffs come to a point at each end. Slight area of wear on the right side bottom front (small amount of fur missing from the edge). Fully lined, lining in great condition. May fit any size at all, as there may be no armhole issues. Coat is lighter than you might expect. Tag says, "Furs Robert A. Allen Utica N.Y." Back of coat has a bit of a swing to it. Gorgeous, rich looking and the perfect fur to wear out to the opera, ballet, orchestra or to a football/baseball/hockey game.
