I am so tired of hearing others say that you shouldn't cross oceans for people. But you know what? You should! If you profess Christ, you have to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31). Love people when they least deserve it, because Christ loves you even though you don't deserve it. If you profess to know God, but don't love others, you don't really know Him; because He IS love (1 John 4:8). Show God's grace and love if you know Him. Stop conforming to this selfish world.

When There’s Love, Cross Oceans
You were too quick again. When the realization came, it was too late. But you’re okay. Take a step back now, look at it, gain some perspective. It’s lessened in intensity, maybe now your insides can finally be still, for a little while, at least. That stillness is essential but you rush so often when it feels right and it’s as if you lose the ability to be still. You’re either all or you’re nothing. Don’t be hard on yourself over it, it’s fine. It’s good, it just means you know right away, your body knows. And you rush because when there’s love you just can’t bring yourself to wait. Do you hear how beautiful that sounds? And you shouldn’t hold back. Go ahead and cross oceans and express everything and anything. Say it. Ask it. Cross oceans.
You can never cross the ocean unless you lose sight of the shore.
Christopher Columbus
I’ve got my sister looking for one way flights for me. It’s finally happening.
Been a while
So it’s been a while since I’ve written anything on here, but isn’t that how it always goes? I get so wrapped up in life that I forget to take a step back and breathe. Well I’m breathing now, slightly better than I was before. As every day goes by I learn a little something new. And lately I’ve been learning about life and love and that I can’t give up on either just because someone else doesn’t understand the way I see them.
“It’s not about what you gain, it’s about what you give.” You have to love people, all people. No conditions attached and no wondering whether or not they’re worthy of it. Some people don’t understand that, but me, I know it all too well. I fall in love with people so fast and so hard. I care for people and I feel what they’re feeling. I know I shouldn’t. I know I should look out for myself, protect myself, but that’s no way to live - always on the defense and never giving people a chance. Maybe I’m naive, maybe I’ll get hurt, but if giving my love and lending an ear could make even the slightest difference then I don’t care how crazy it seems.
Cross oceans; climb mountains.
