I am 61% into this story and I'm scatching my head on whether or not I like Silver Elite. I read a few chapters and think it's good, and then i'll read two or three chapters asking myself why I'm still reading it. The writing for the fantasy potion is pretty good. It can have moments where it irks me, but i can push through it. I like the world and the different levels of telepaths. The romance portion.... I could careless for it. It's not needed. For the most part, it's just one-sided lust coming from the mfc, and somehow, the mmc's lust feelings are thrown in there. Its also giving "why choose" vibes and I'm not a fan of that. I definitely wish she liked Kaine over Cross. There is more chemistry between them. Cross at this moment is like dry burnt toast set on fire 🙃. You have to throw logic out the door for this story, I guess...
I would really like Wren to stop playing dumb during these tests. It's obviously not working at all, and it's getting old quick. 😂
