Last one in the cellar - 2006 @paulhobbswines Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley. While I initially doubted much life would be left, this 2006 still showed outstanding primary fruit of plum and cassis with a fleshy mid palate moving to velvety tannins over a long finish. Oak profile is evident and integrated well. A bit sweeter than I remember but was an excellent foil to a herb encrusted roast of sirloin served at medium rare.
