Will there ever be an official comic? I'm like in love with the concept and would love to see a real story for it

I can't draw but maybe I could write a few short stories every once in a while

I don't have that many plans for a canon story at this point tbh but I definitely wanna do more with them than I do right now so that's a good idea

maybe I can collab with the official artist for crossed spotlights ( @alwayssecretcollector I've made you the official artist, now beat the burden) and make a story with illustrations if not a full comic

and my favorite colour is green :3 (specifically a dark emerald)

and every day I open it and there are no asks and I'm surprised

The Lore for the World of

Crossed Spotlights

my other universe has a light based title so I thought this would be a cool title that's also light based and the spotlights are dimensions and the fact they're crossed represents the dimension hopping

Alexander Timantha

Got her powers when she was 11

Couldn’t control them and ended up hopping into several different dimensions

Eventually found one like hers but set in 1940s-ish this is where Alexander meets Eleanor

Eleanor managed to help Alexander calm down so that her dimension hops would be less sporadic and promised to stay with her until she gained full control of where she went

They started hopping through different dimensions and Eleanor, despite being quite and stoic protected Alexander fiercely

Eventually they came to a dimension with spider people (they had at least 4 eyes each and some of them were like centaurs but spiders)

They were confusing to the spider people because they’d never seen regular humans before and so Eleanor and Alexander were held captive for fear they were dangerous

Dirtbike is the one who broke them out (because she’s rebellious and thought Eleanor was pretty) and because she broke the rules to free them Dirtbike asked to stay with them for a bit so everyone could calm down

They go on a few more interdimensional adventures and eventually Alexander figures out control of her powers and takes everyone home

Alexander technically isn’t an orphan, but her parents aren’t around often so she sees Eleanor and Dirtbike as her moms, and avoids her actual parents (when she turns 18 in a few months she plans to move dimensions and split her time between her moms’ dimensions)

Madness Incarnate

Met Alexander when they were 13

She can speak see ghosts and has had the ability to do so since she was born

She didn’t realize that was what she was doing until she was 7

She prefers ghosts over people, but she prefers Alexander specifically over ghosts

When she was 8 she saw online what people who liked ghosts looked like (she discovered goth people) and thought that aesthetic was amazing so its hers now

She is quiet and often likes to interact with people through Alexander

No one else knows about her powers (not even Alexander)

Dirtbike and Eleanor both love her and call her their daughter in law already

Alexander told Mad about her dimension hopping powers when they were 14 and introduced her to her parents when they were 15

They started dating at 16

Eleanor

Eleanor was from a fairly well off family and so was married off to a man she had no interest in

She feigned extreme romantic interest and infatuation with the man, but had been planning his murder since before they met (when she got the news she was to be married)

After a few years being married he died mysteriously

She feigned extreme grief and swore to never remarry (little did everyone else know this whole time she’s been a lesbian)

She’s very no-nonsense but at the same time she can spare compassion for those dear to her (or to those she deems heart-wrenchingly pathetic)

She found Dirtbike attractive upon their first meeting but didn’t think of pursuing her until several months later

Dirtbike

Dirtbike has always been something of a trouble maker

She would do anything to impress a pretty girl

She immediately fell really hard for Eleanor and would regularly make a fool of herself to flirt with her

She also was immediately really close to Alexander

She likes to make small things and give them to her two girls and so they each have several strange knick knacks laying around their houses

She gets Alexander’s relationship with her parents and so she immediately takes her role as one of Alexander’s moms very seriously after the first time Alexander called Dirtbike mom (it was an accident)

She thinks that the most attractive quality of her girlfriend is that Eleanor has killed someone, Dirtbike is the only one Eleanor has told, but Alexander has theorized it and told her theory to Mad

Dirtbike was the one to suggest visits between dimensions because when it came time to go back to their home dimensions everyone was sad to say goodbye but Alexander didn't think about continuing to use her powers and Eleanor was far too responsible to suggest it herself

When she got back home the first time she was given community service hours as penance for breaking Alexander and Dirtbike out of prison but she never actually showed up to those and no one actually tried to make sure she did

this happened so now Mad had a kiddy crush on Dirtbike before catching feelings for Alexander lol

cause it's fun and cute but also nothing's coming of it ever no way

anyway Mad and Alexander are now 17 and thus cannot fall in love with the wrong people since they're the only kids
