Congrats on the 500 followers. My question for you are things I've been wondering about FFXV that you might have insight on: Why do you think the Niffs have flight technology, but not Insomnia (other than regalia mods?) Do you think theres a form of law enforcement in Lucis outside Insomnia? I mean you never run into bandits in the wild after all. How do you suppose people who work for the crown are able to use the armiger/flash step? A ceremony? Spell? Thanks for your thoughts. :)

Why do you think the Niffs have flight technology, but not Insomnia (other than regalia mods?)   I have a few theories: over reliance on magic, fear of becoming evil like the empire, inability to find a way to make flying tech compatible with the Wall

Do you think theres a form of law enforcement in Lucis outside Insomnia? IIRC the Glaive gets sent out for serious things, but we never really see any law enforcement. The closest we see is the network of Hunters -- maybe they serve as local law enforcement in the more rural areas, not only hunting monsters but handling other matters?

How do you suppose people who work for the crown are able to use the armiger/flash step? A ceremony? Spell? I like to think there is a big, elaborate arcane ceremony granting access to the armiger for the few who are allowed to use it. For access to magic in general, maybe it’s part of the swearing in when one joins the Glaive. Could be as simple as when you take your oaths, the ruler of the time lays a hand on your head and enables you to access the magic. But yeah, for the armiger, I feel like something more elaborate is needed since that is a step beyond just casting magic.

11. Who was the most evil character?There are other evil characters, of course, but when I see the words “evil” and “HP” in the same sentence, I can only think about Dolores Umbridge.The sadistic way in which she dishes out punishment to whomever goes against her. Her prejudice against Muggles (despite her being a half-blood, if I recall correctly). And I can personally appreciate some villains, but her fake frilly façade which hides her rotten core is utterly unlikeable to me.So yeah, worse than Voldemort xDAsk away!

24. How do you feel about Cursed Child?Very much "uuuuuuugh". I'd save the parts with Scorpius because he's an angel and I love him. And the parts with Snape, although he looks very different from the actual Snape of the book series.I consider CC a poorly-written and chaotic fanfiction. They maimed some characters horribly, like Ron. And don't get me started on Cedric's memory and everything!I've read it because I was curious, but to me it would be a 4/10.Thanks for asking!

I'm curious how the magic system in your world works. Is it hard or soft magic? What are its limits? How is one person better or worse at it than others? I had a hard time figuring this out in my world and I'd love to know how you did yours.

I’m not actually sure what you mean by ‘hard or soft magic’.  Your other questions are things I hadn’t thought about yet (I’m in SUCH early stages) but I’m gonna brainstorm some ideas right now so I can answer them!

What are its limits? I think the biggest limitation to using magic in this world is your training. The training is very regimented and very black and white. There is a “one right way” and every other way is wrong. By the time you graduate from the training, it would be nearly impossible for you to even consider doing any sort of magic you hadn’t been directly taught (i.e. you may have been taught how to light a campfire, but not be able to make yourself light a house on fire).

How is one person better or worse at it than others?  Given the nature of how they are taught (it is combined with dancing), I think that magical skill is connecting to dancing skill. There is more to it than that… but that’s spoiler territory so if I ever manage to finish this book, you can read all about it. ;)

Random question: if you were to have offspring with one of the bros (or Nyx) who would you pick and why? Genetically speaking.

My knee-jerk answer is to say Nyx because he’s the closest to my age.  All the other boys are so young at the start of the game!  If we’re going postgame and aged up ten years…I’m taking the cop out and going three way tie between Nyx/Gladio/Ignis because I see merits to all of them. If Noct didn’t die, him too. The only reason I’m not calling a five way tie is that with Prom’s magitek origins, I’m not sure procreating would be a good idea.

Hey Xy, happy TGIF. I've been thinking about the male dynamic in XV a lot and while they have some strong female characters, they aren't really in any spotlight like Yuna in X or Tifa in VII, so I ask you ... how would XV have been different if Noct was a princess, or Iris was the shield? If Prom was a girl, do you think the game would have made her an actual love interest instead of just a fan one? I'd love to hear what you think.

Happy Friday, my friend! I would have loved a strong female character being more prominent. Particularly would have loved to see much more of Lunafreya, and/or seen daemon hunter Iris in WoR. I love our boys very much but there were some wonderful ladies!

Noct being a Princess I supposed would have had “her” engaged to Ravus, perhaps, instead of Luna?  Iris as the Shield would have made me weep with joy. i LOVE Gladio (as everyone on my tumblr knows) but a female Shield is a fascinating idea and plays right into my love of women warriors.  Female Prom I don’t think would have necessarily made Promptis into a “canon” thing since Noct was engaged to Lunafreya. Maybe some time in the future after Noct had time to mourn Lunafreya’s death and assuming he survived the end of the game.

Not as cute as baby goats maybe, but my 4 yr old daughter has been behaving better than most 30 yr old people I know. She helped me clean the coop and feed the chickens, turn the compost, and she just randomly helps doing dishes. I have no clue what I did right but she gives me hope for the future of humanity. Hope that's good vibes enough. :)
