Ali looked up at the stars wondering what the future would hold, they had returned back to their pride along with others that they had meet along their time away. 'Why did he turn it down, why did he chose me' Ali thought as he looked down at the ground, he knew him and his brother had changed and grown during their journey and in turn were very different lions then when they first left the pride, before their journey his brother had always been destined to become the next king of their pride while he would be his adviser however his brother had turned it down meaning Ali would be the one to become king 'Am I ready, can I really be the king they need me to be?' Ali couldn't help but question Solara smiled as she approached Ali from behind almost making him jump as she placed a paw gently on his shoulder "You look lost in thought" She said "What troubles you?" "I'm just thinking about things" Ali told her looking away "What things?" She asked "I guess, I don't understand why Kad turned down becoming king, as cubs it was all he could talk about and now he doesn't want it" Ali said looking back at Solara "He was always mean to take father's place, not me" Solara moved closer to him smiling softly "Do you think I'm ready for this?" he asked her Solara moved to rest her head under his chin keeping her smile "I think you'll do just fine" "You think so?"
