Hello, I am Kenshin. Instructor at Crossover Academy under the Combat and Strategy Department—sometimes Home Economics. ^_^
While I do manage the CA blog as an admin, I'll also be running my own individual blog right here! Just in case you want to have a chat.
Do you have any questions? I'll answer them, with due time. Sometimes I might be a bit busy, that I am. I will try to respond as quickly as I can. °¬°"
Thank you for reading ~!
[Kenshin's funfact of the day!]
Eh?
Funfact: Doorknobs that are made out of brass can disinfect themselves in around 8 hours. Copper doorknobs do the same, but at a faster speed—half the time it takes for brass to do the same job.

Not at Crossover Academy today. This one found a chick!
[Kenshin's funfact/tip of the day!]
Survival? In cold weather? That could be useful.. at some point.
Again, should this one call it a tip? Maybe. I feel like.. Mm, those.. what do people nowadays call them? "Video game loading screens"?
Under any circumstances, do not substitute alcohol for water, especially if you are freezing. While it may make you feel warm, the alcohol will actually speed up the process of heat loss and hypothermia. Additionally, with that warm feeling comes sweating, which does the opposite of keeping you warm, as well as reducing your ability to shiver, which is your body's way of keeping you warm.
TL;DR - Alcohol isn't good for you in the snow.. that it isn't.
^ Don't do this in the cold. Please. ^_^"

[Kenshin's funfact of the day!]
This one has been quite busy here and there.. so why not a fun fact? Or is it called a tip? Mm, this one will say it is both for this fact.
Fun Fact!: Adding white vinegar when cooking can help rice last longer and helps with the stickiness. Generally it doesn't affect the taste of said rice.. unless you put too much. Usually using a spoon is recommended for measurement, but if you don't have that (for.. some reason), using the cap of the vinegar bottle works just fine too.

[Kenshin's funfact of the day!]
An actual fun fact! Not a survival tip anymore. For now. This one thought it would be nice to put here.. something else for a change.
Funfact!: You can hear rhubarb plants grow if you place them in a warm, dark space, like a shed. Forced darkness makes them think it's spring, hence speeding up the growth process.
Rhubarb, when forced into darkness, grows at an alarmingly fast rate—up to an inch per day! Such speed of its growth also causes it to makes squeaking or popping noises as it grows. Hence, you can hear rhubarb plants grow!
..Pretend this one is the rhubarb, okay? 😅
