Bucky knew a PTSD episode when he saw one. He was intimately familiar with them, much to his chagrin. The flashbacks, the confusion about where he was, the absolute fear that worked its way through his veins. Then a voice telling him to breathe, reminding him that he was safe in his room, far away from the place where the trauma was rooted. Usually it was Steve reminding him of this, or Natasha. Sometimes Sam. Breath, focus on what he sees, repeat. He was also familiar with waking up in the middle of the night screaming, in a cold sweat, and unable to get out of the dream for several seconds.
So when he passed by a room with the door open and one of the SHIELD agents clearly going through an episode, he had stopped. Bucky had only caught the tail end of it, which meant he hadn’t helped a lot. He crossed his arms over his chest, unbothered by the way the agent snapped at him. He could relate to that as well. He hated it when people saw him in his weakest and most vulnerable moments.
“Obviously not,” Bucky retorted. There was a bottle of water in his hands and he stepped in the room, uninvited, to hand it to the agent. “But I know what that feels like so I thought I could try and help. I didn’t get here in time, though.”
do you think relius clover would be interested in igor and the velvet room attendants because I cant help but imagine how he would react
Most likely, but the Velvet Room Residents aren’t usually people you can go and find, they find you. I don’t recall any human character in Persona, outside of a guest like the Wild Cards, entering the Velvet Room w/o Igor and his Attendant(s)’ permission. Special cases being the ending of Persona 3 The Answer, and the Persona Q games.
Weather or not Relius would be a threat to them is up in the air. He IS a powerful sorcerer and one of the greatest minds in his home series, but Igor and the Velvet Siblings are kind of in a league of their own. Relius might be a powerful and genius sorcerer and engineer with forbidden knowledge, but he’s still human. Meanwhile Elizabeth oneshots Erebus every other month and now has the Wild Card as of the Arena series.
He’d be interested but I doubt there would be many chances, if any, to get any data on them or enter their own turf. Especially since the Velvet Room “exists between dream and reality, mind and matter”
