A prompt, or a request :-)

I feel very strongly that there should be a Continent-set Leverage/Witcher crossover fic in which Eliot is a Witcher. Possibly a Cat Witcher; certainly with a past that makes him as prone to guilt as he has in “Leverage”.

Ideally both geraskier (or geraskefer!) and Eliot/Hardison/Parker. But a lot of Geralt & Eliot friendship (and possibly Eskel & Eliot friendship?). Also Jaskier and Eliot becoming unlikely friends partly because Eliot is absolutely fricking delighted by the song Jaskier writes about him. And then they sing lots together. And Geralt complains, a lot, but likes it really.

Bonus if something like the Leverage crew exists in it and they take down Stregobor.

If this or something like it exists I can’t find it on AO3. I’d be delighted if I just wasn’t looking skillfully enough. ;-)

Failing that if anyone fancies writing this (or doing artwork for the concept), please consider yourselves prompted because aaaaah it would be so great.

Sorry to bother you with a request! >_< I love the way you portray Cloud and Steve in your works! So I was wondering, crossover headcanons on Cloud Strife and Steve Rogers being old time friends, meeting each other after a long time and their reaction of seeing the other? (pre-serum Steve and Infantry Cloud not having seen each other for many years and finally meeting again as AC Cloud and post-serum Steve)

Steve and Cloud:

Cloud and Steve both wanted to be soldiers

There were friends when they were younger

They met during training

Cloud was already in SOLDIER

And Steve was accepted into the army

But before he got the serum

They bonded over their dreams

Over wanting to help people

But they didn’t really have time to become too close

Because both their groups left that town

However, they remembered each other

Steve never forgot ‘that kid with the spiky blond hair’

Cloud sometimes thought about that small guy with a will of steel

So when they met again, they didn’t even recognize each other at first

Cloud wasn’t all that changed, but then again he was

Before he was shy but kind of bubbly and optimistic

Now he dressed in all black and seemed so sad

Also, his eyes looked different, he couldn’t tell why

And Steve barely even looked like himself

He was now so tall and strong and mature

They passed each other, unknowingly

Until Steve realized he knew that man and interrupted him

“Excuse me, do we know each other?” 

Cloud stared at him until he found something familiar in that face

“S… Steve?” He responded in awe

It was their eyes that gave it away, the kindness in them

The courage but also the resignation now

With just a simple look, they know how much happened in that time

Honestly, they’re glad to meet again

They shook hands and even hugged, happy with their reunuion

Even if they weren’t that close, it was very important for them

Their reunion feels like a reminder of their old lives

When everything used to be simpler

They catch up and tell the other everything

Cloud explains how he lost his best friend and the girl he loved

Steve says pretty much the same thing happened to him

Even if Steve kind of travelled through time when he was in the ice

And they bond over their similar pasts

Both Cloud and Steve stay in contact

And often talk to each other because they relate so much

And in the other they find not only a friend

But a person who understand their struggles

And someone they can trust and rely on
