3: Favorite musical artist you started listening this year
Quoting loosely what I said about a week ago: I came across this great rock band called Fobia. Where were they my whole life? Is it because they're from Mexico and I'm not? I can't quite remember, where did I find them... Given their name, it's kind of suspicious.
9: Best month of this year
Either April or July. The thing is, neither was particularily easy.
I did a lot of fun things in July, but also had two (minor but painful) accidents.
In April I became a living proof that a regular person can actually win concert tickets from a local radio station. While being so ill I could barely survive a bus ride to their office. But when did high fever keep me from a good show? Never, that's the answer!
11: Something you want to do again next year
Just as many, if not more, trips to museums! There were too many exhibitions I had missed the former years; never again.
21: What's something new about your place of residence now vs. the start of the year
Not a happy one. See, we had to put our dog down this week. Yesterday I gave away his food and toys, turning all the dog spaces into human spaces for the first time in 8 years.
25: Did you create any new characters this year?
Quite the contrary! XD This year I figure out the character of mine, who eventually finds his way into every piece of my fiction (writing him in means the perfect mix of weirdly deep insight and completely wrong conclusions; how could I resist?), is pretty much a rehash of Gojyo from Saiyuki. Funny thing - I started buying the manga in high school and haven't touched it till this summer. In first two volumes I couldn't really tell what I liked so much about it. And yet - some parts stayed so deep inside me.
17 will come in its due time. I won't forget.
