I mean.. if they have the answers you're looking for, it probably could pull it from them? And maybe like.. maybe *do* try it with something that isnt a dangerous subject. Like. Ask someone something that they wouldnt tell you, like what their last nightmare was? Try and ask the same way you asked Marv. Its relatively harmless, and you can test your limits? That might be.. too far tho, idk. I have bad ideas too often, it's just a suggestion
> Jack hesitates far too long at that idea.
> You can tell that he’s tempted, despite his concerns.
> “...If it were something small, and harmless- I mean... it can only help, as long as I don’t try to pry and attract attention to myself...”
> He winces. “But that’s exactly the problem. I could raise suspicions.”
> He runs a hand through his hair.
> “What do you all think? Try testing this out around town, or keep lying low?”
My fifth visual journal. This time the prompts is “crossroads” as in like problems and decisions. We were required to make a door, pocket, use a tape transfer, and previous shapes in this journal.
This was really fun to make, and I love how it turned out. Speedpaint for this will be out Sunday.
2:30 am // “yer so sooooooo so drunk, oppa.” he isn’t. he snorts, eyes flickering down to the buzz of his cellphone in his lap. she doubles over when he picks it up and struggles to punch the right keys with those oversized hands, finding it hilarious that someone in this day and age would still be using a flip phone.

“yeah, and drunk texting me while i’m right next to you is really cute.”
hyeri hiccups, eyes round and searching as they float from juwon’s smirk down to the phone in his hand. she gasps, pinot noir on her tongue and words a jumble in her mind. then laughs, shoulders hunched, pillow to her open mouth. “wrong number, wrong number! oops!”
he sighs, leaning over to snatch the phone from her hand, tapping at it a few times ( where the hell was the off button on this thing? ) before he gives up, tossing it onto the ground instead; “hey -!”, then a hand over her mouth, “shh.”
she sits, cross-legged and quiet, eyes like rising moons over the cup of his fingers. quiet, quiet, then, “you smell nice.”
it’s muffled behind his hand, but he hears her, anyway. hears her and smiles, fingers a loose drift across her cheek. hears her and tells her she smells like clean laundry and baby powder.
“that’s poetic.”“everything is poetry when you’re drunk.”she wrinkles her nose, lips puckered and cheeks rosy, “is that a good thing?”
he shrugs, eyes playful. they remind her of headlights on a dark highway. lampposts on a starless night.
“you smell nice, too,” she says again, this time more adamant. “nice like what?”“nice like you.”
these are the things he knows // she’s not good at explaining. sometimes she keeps her window open at night. he can tell when the fresh-cut grass and warm wind kiss their sundrunk scent against her skin. he tells her she smells like a garden, and she laughs.
