I said YES. So tonight kami ni Garett nag host sa Crossroads for announcements. It was a stretch coz I never imagined myself hosting, englishing (haha), or even holding a microphone tapos sa stage pa of the main sanctuary! It was not the usual, and I never did that before and I admit I almost turn the challenge down but I knew in my heart it's time to do something new, to be stretched coz it's #NewWaysNewDaysNewLevels. But still, the confusion arise more as I imagined myself to it and thinking of what I can' do. I'm not fluent, I'm not lively, I'm not a good speaker. To tell you the reason why I finally give in, it's because Garett said these: "Yes kaya mo yan dhil mag ppray tayo :)" Thank you for reminding me not to rely on myself, not to look in my weaknesses, but to pray. Thank you also for helping to do the stretch! These are the moments when you know you can't do it, because you don't have the talent and experience. Then that is a good opportunity for me to be fully dependent on God. :) Anyway, ito na nga. Balik tayo sa promposal, si kuya Garett mo may pagdala ng flower at pagluhod. Everybody was surprised. Some quickly get their phone to capture what's happening on the stage, some stopped what they are doing, a moment of silence and everybody was waiting what will happen next. "Will you be my prom date?" flashed on the sanctuary screen. Tawanan lahat. Whew! Kala nilang lahat yun na yon e! Madaming nainis kay Garett, umasa talaga sila haha! Surprise din dapat sakin yung PROMposal nya pero he decided to tell me his plans kasi baka daw masipa ko sya pag iba naisip ko. (We both know it's not the time yet guys 👌👌) Sorry it was all planned!
