Honestly tumblr is unironically the best social media platform. Like really how is tumblr that bad

Like on its own I feel like it’s actually pretty good but relative to all the others I would go as far as to say it’s the best

No it’s not perfect but like hell even when tumblr has glitches they are incredible like the rat post or in 2016 with all the dots

Or features that might have been common in like MySpace but since then have been just missing

And tumblr doesn’t have stories which honestly I’m a fan that they don’t

Yes staff sucks but like when comparing to other sites, their staff suck ass as well

Also the fact that we will even hands down think this site sucks but still use it I also see as a good since it means we actually do have standards and we do care but we’re also willing to give this dumb site a chance

Also like tumblr has honestly the best site culture like it’s the wildness you see on Reddit and 4/8 Chan but like less hateful and more.......... okay less Nazi and more like being a popular user that then gets found out to own a child slave ....sixpence

Like even if you use tumblrs wild culture as a downside you’re then ignoring social media in general

Every site has both as a good and a bad a wild culture

From Reddit,kiwi farms, 4chan, 8chan, Twitter, angelfire, neocities, geocities, tumblr, YouTube, goog plus, aol, cruton.net , the habaro surgar free gummy bears Amazon product review comments, MySpace, something awful.

All can be good bad and everything in between but honestly tumblr really Isant that bad

But like if you’re thinking of 2015 tumblr then like realize Twitter kindof acted as a sponge to that culture after the 2018 purge
