a/n: this was. hard. harder than i thought... !!! but i think i am getting the hang of it...!! yay !!! my first headcanon posts of my faves !!! enjoy :3 !!!
laughing jack doesn't need sleep. when he does happen to drift off, he's never fully unconscious. it's more like he's zoning out with his eyes closed, mind as empty as he can get it to be, but he can still tell what's happening around him and the passage of time, so not really sleep. but he does PRETEND to sleep. he pulls off the loudest fuckin snore you will ever hear. it also sounds so ridiculous and cartoony you cant help but laugh at it at first. but if you get tired of it and try to confront him about it he'll literally DENY that he snores in his 'sleep'. HIM?? SNORING??? NEVER !!!
+ bonus! he mostly 'sleeps' ... anywhere, as long as it's soft and/or comfy :3 such as jason's bed. he never uses it anyway ... !!!!
jason on the other hand, does somewhat need to sleep. but he's stubborn and refuses to do so. being some kind of... cursed human, he doesn't need to sleep as much as normal humans do, and can last longer without it, but in the end, he still needs it. but he mostly ignores that fact since hes immortal- if he dies from it, he just comes back to life anyway. most of the time, he's too distracted with working on a toy to even notice its been days since he last slept. he's passed out on his desk way too many times. some other places hes passed out on are: the bathtub, couch, dinner table, somewhere in his workshop, and if he ever miraculously remembers to get to it, his bed. though that last one is rare.
+ bonus! he usually wakes up early to catch up on lost time he could've used working .... even if he worked the whole day yesterday and only had 3 hours of sleep. he also wakes up early to prepare his toyshop.
candy pop... kindddd of sleeps? he doesn't really need it either, being immortal and all that. but unlike jack, he can sleep if he wanted to! he doesn't get tired from not sleeping, but rather he'd get tired from doing something strenuous for a long time... do u get what i mean??? he'd probably also start feeling tired and sick if he hasn't consumed any souls for longer than he should. he has a bit of a nocturnal schedule, hunting for souls at night and when he wants to, opting to sleep when its day. on bad days, he avoids sleeping as he sometimes gets nightmares, or it reminds him too much of night terrors for whatever reason.
+ bonus! he sleeps in his boxers, but if he's especially tired, he just kicks off his boots and falls asleep in his clothes (... a bit like jason). he has way too many layers to take off, okay?!?!? despite how tired he might be, he'll never forget to take off his hair ties and bells before bed. those get tangled CRAZY bad in your sleep.

What is your opinion on The Puppeteer? How do you think his relationships with Candy, Jason and Jack would be like?
candy pop and the puppeteer are on generally good terms, but they aren't exactly friends. they both think the other is interesting; they're more like allies, you wouldn't see the two fighting unless it came to it! puppeteer doesn't mind spending time with candy pop, but with him, jason and laughing jack aren't far behind and he's not the fondest of those two, so they don't really meet often. I like to think they're both fans of theater.
i remember that krisantyl has drawn puppeteer and jason together, so i take it they know eachother atleast! i imagine it was similar to how candy pop and jason first met; with jason waking up to find puppeteer haunting his house. he was easier to chase off than candy pop, considering he didn't come back to annoy him after that. jason doesn't care about him, and puppeteer thinks he's odd with the whole turning women into dolls thing, even though the two seem more similar than they both think.
the puppeteer wouldn't like laughing jack for his choice in victim, but he doesn't let it show when he's around the clown. laughing jack likes the puppeteer however! he likes making all sorts of friends, and the puppeteer is a very unique sort of friend, therefore he's appointed them friends now! they don't hang out or talk? well, they're friends anyway!

laughing jack wears ... i dont know what its called ??? but its sort of like a onesie !!! i think !!! it has pom pom buttons and striped sleeves, of course!! he also has a pin-striped one, that comes with a matching nightcap :3 he also has the same sets but as a two piece !!! variety !!!
+ bonus! when he feels like it, he just wears boxers and his striped stockings. YES. HIS STRIPED SOCKS ARE STOCKINGS!!!! its a weird headcanon i have from a comic.... thats all 🙂↕️
ive already said that candy pop wears boxers to bed, but did you know!!! he also wears JASON'S boxers to bed... !!! jason doesn't even let him, he just does it himself. stealing laughing jack's boxers are ALSO an option, but unfortunately. they are just too big.
jason doesn't change clothes. like I've said before he!!! just passes out !!! no time to change clothes when youre passing out !!! on the rare chance he gets to change before falling asleep, sometimes hes just lazy and takes shit off until he's only wearing his button up and pants, sometimes his socks! cuz his normal sleepwear, which he almost never uses... are also just a button up and pants.

I'm going to be honest everyone.. jason is the only one with a job. we all know already that he's a toymaker and all that !!! to get more into it, some toys he just kinda makes, some he makes with a purpose, and some!! he makes to sell !!! unfortunately the some he makes to sell are also so he can find chosen ones... cough .... his toys are bought exclusively from his store, i dont think he's one to take orders. but he does take customs if a customer from the shop asked, i think! he doesn't really do much with the money (money hoarder boooo), except buy toy supplies with it. since he forgets to take care of himself most of the time, he rarely buys essentials like food and toiletries.
laughing jack. CLOWN. though it's not really a job, since he doesn't get paid for it... but he's a clown !!! well, you could say he gets paid, if you count the stuff he steals from his victims... is that some sort of payment? he doesn't even sell it tho, just hoards it in his circus ... he wouldn't even take money to get candy, since he can just steal the candy right away !!!
candy pop ... also has no job 💔. he's a jester and that is all 💔. unlike laughing jack, he doesn't steal from his victims (why would he need anything like that?!), so he really just messes with people and performs for the hell of it. he also doesn't have much care for money, but if given, he'd use it to buy something ridiculous and stupid. (ex. bouncy castle, some ugly hat ....)

a/n: thank you for the request!! ive never actually thought abt what kind of music they listen to :P i wrote my answers a bit ago, but then i was like WAAIIIT !!! i can format these all cute like my headcanon posts!! so im doing that !!! feel free to send another :P
laughing jack is a big fan of circus music of course (especially ones with an accordion in them, since then he can join in!), and nursery rhymes. most of the time he switches the lyrics into something gory. he's not really into any normal music, but he does like the ones that are energetic in tune or ridiculous in lyrics. its fun, and he likes that! if you asked him for any songs as an example of this, he wouldn't be able to tell you, he doesn't remember titles.
jason would listen to classical music the most, but he's not the most interested in music, you know? he also has a dislike towards music that are loud and full of screaming, like rock. yknow .. like an old person!! if you put something on, he'd tolerate it if it sounded beautiful and soft to him, or if it was some sort of classic love song from way back then.
candy pop also loves circus music! he's also a fan of music that are just wild and fun in nature, opposite to jason and similar to laughing jack. he doesn't have a set taste though, he's open to listening to anything! and that also means he doesn't remember titles either. he's also just forgetful, yknow? though, candy pop is also a fan if somethings completely composed of flute, or bells and fairy chimes. it reminds him of home.
